Walgreens Deals 9/13 – 9/19/09

by admin on September 11, 2009

In addition to the Healthy Savings $30 coupon booklet, look for the newest pamphlet coupons in the September Coupon booklet. My favorite Walgreens keep them in the front of the store in the coupon racks.

For more deals and coupon match-ups look to the Main Walgreens Page The main page includes monthly RR offers and deals through October 3rd!

These are what I consider to be the best Walgreens deals next week:

*****

Purchase one (1) Murine Ear Drops Kit ($6), Receive $6 RR

(Prestige Brands)

******

Purchase one (1) True North Nut Crisps or Clusters (4.5 or 5.5oz), Receive $3 RR
$1 True North printable
$1 manufacturer coupon (from the SS 2/8/09 inserts) Thanks kas!

(Frito-Lay North America)

******

Purchase two (2) Triaminic Allergy, Sinus or Cold Relief (2/$10), Receive $5 RR
Triaminic $1.50 printable
There is a $2 walgreens coupon in the Healthy Savings $30 booklet for liquids or strips

(Novartis Consumer Health, Inc)

******

Mars Candy 2/$1 (with in-ad coupon) – $1/2 manufacturer coupon (from the 8/23/09 RP inserts) = FREE!

To roll:

True North Nuts $3
- $1 manufacturer coupon
= $2 + receive $3 RR

(2) Triaminic = $10
(2) Mars Candy bars = $1
= $11
- $4 Walgreen’s coupon credit (booklet)
- $4 manufacturer coupons
= $3
- $2 RR from true north nuts
= $1 + receive $5 RR

Murine Ear Drops Kit $6
- $5 RR from the triaminic
= $1 + Receive $6 RR

Now to spend the $6 RR it only works if you hold back a $1 manufacturer coupon which kinda stinks. You hate to leave a dollar on the table. Maybe adding a newspaper on Sunday would be the best bet and then use all $5 in manufacturer coupons.

(2) Triaminic $10
(2) Mars Candy bars $1
(1) True North Nuts $3
= $14
- $4 Walgreen’s coupon credit (booklet)
- $4 manufacturer coupons
= $6
- $6 RR
= $0 + Receive (1) $3 RR and (1) $5 RR

OOP $4, you still have $8 in RR and you got $34 worth of stuff. :-)

I figure 150 or more $1.00 True North MQ to clip. Knowing where to dumpster dive for inserts does help, from time to time. Given one can’t use a RR for the product from the same company, it will be a long week.

One idea to roll those $3 RR.

B2 Keebler Cookies and a gal. of milk.

$3.98 + $3.19 (local price) = $7.17 – (2.00 + 3.00) = $2.17

What insert kas? I don’t have it in my listing so it must have been regional.

Ann – I’m having problems bringing up Glenda’s Master List. For now, best I figure the coupon came in a SS insert within the last six months.

It just that I pull apart inserts as I find ‘em, combine idential pages and get rid of the ‘useless’ sheets. At the start of a month, I seperate all pages that will contain expire MQ by the end of the month. Best guess, I might cut on 5-10% of pages before I return ‘em to the those green and yellow recycle dumpsters.

Thanks for getting back to me, Kas.

My list is actually much more comprehensive than Glenda’s as I add everything Joe brings home to anything else I can find… figure 10 or more different insert sources per week. Sometimes it is as low as six sources, but still a healthy mix.

Ann- I did finally find the info. That MQ came in a SS 2/8/09 insert. Oh well, I got pages with MQ that won’t expire until sometime next year. Surpringly, some wait until they can completely fill the car trunk and than go get rid of ‘em. It’s a pain finding a stack of inserts and realize most aren’t worth my time to go through.
