Every week it is stated: a RR from the same manufacturer will not roll.

So wth does that mean?

Ok, after further review I decided to clean up my last clarification. :-P

A RR from the same product or alike manufacturer will not roll if it is for the exact same amount.
If you use a $2 J&J RR on an offer from J&J that will get you a $3 RR, it should roll.
Problem is it does not always generate a new RR when from the same manufacturer even with differing RR amounts.
And, if it does not roll you get the cashier/manager arguments and the Catalina arguments that you used a RR from the same manufacturer, blah, blah, blah .

So, I am going to leave this as an absolute even though there are exceptions. I’d rather people safe than sorry especially when dealing with money.

Hi Suzanne,

IVC = Instant Value Coupon. That is the name Walgreen’s gives to their store coupons.

My Wags now takes all Wags coupons first. When I went this week, I had a stack (15) coupons and the cashier demanded all the wags coupons first, claiming it was their new policy. So now I can’t do any deals that would require you to give their coupons last. =(

Sara give them the coupons in the order YOU would like. Tell the cashier that you are doing it “this way” because the cashiers forget to take off coupons. And then hand her the coupons one at a time.

On the other hand, next time you go in it may be a different cashier that has never heard of the new store-policy.

It’s so funny how different Walgreens locations have different policies. This week, one of the stores refused to take the B1G1F coupons for the Purex liquid because it was already on sale for B1G1F. Just for the heck of it, I went to the one a few blocks away and the cashier didn’t even say a word. He just took them off and I walked away with 6 bottles of Purex Liquid for $1.57 tax.

I believe the Crest mouthwash coupon you are indicating in the match-up is for a size much larger than what is on sale.
