Walgreens Deals 11/8 – 11/14/09

The monthly RR can be found at the bottom of the main Walgreen’s page and are a lot of the great freebies from last week. So, no one need lose their Walgreen’s RR for any reason this month… and remember, there are always newspapers. :-)

For more deals and coupon match-ups look to the Main Walgreens Page The main page includes monthly RR offers and deals through 11/14/09

These are what I consider to be the best deals this week. For other deals, look to the Main Walgreens Page

The overwrap has a $5/$25 coupon Now, the coupon says “after all discounts, etc” but what it normally means is $25 after all Walgreen’s IVC (Walgreen’s store coupons). This is YMMV And, even if the register will take it off and not add the $5 back after your total falls below $25 when you subtract your coupons and RR, that does not mean the cashier will not void it off. Using this coupon is GREAT! But be aware of the potential pitfalls. Your best case scenario is to use the $5/$25 while padding your order with the Bayer Meter. It is free after coupon and a nice little item to increase the order total.

Every week it is stated: a RR from the same manufacturer will not roll.

So wth does that mean?

Ok, after further review I decided to clean up my last clarification. :-P

A RR from the same product or alike manufacturer will not roll if it is for the exact same amount.
If you use a $2 J&J RR on an offer from J&J that will get you a $3 RR, it should roll.
Problem is it does not always generate a new RR when from the same manufacturer even with differing RR amounts.
And, if it does not roll you get the cashier/manager arguments and the Catalina arguments that you used a RR from the same manufacturer, blah, blah, blah .

So, I am going to leave this as an absolute even though there are exceptions. I’d rather people safe than sorry especially when dealing with money.
