Every week it is stated: a RR from the same manufacturer will not roll.

So wth does that mean?

Ok, after further review I decided to clean up my last clarification. :-P

A RR from the same product or alike manufacturer will not roll if it is for the exact same amount.
If you use a $2 J&J RR on an offer from J&J that will get you a $3 RR, it should roll.
Problem is it does not always generate a new RR when from the same manufacturer even with differing RR amounts.
And, if it does not roll you get the cashier/manager arguments and the Catalina arguments that you used a RR from the same manufacturer, blah, blah, blah .

So, I am going to leave this as an absolute even though there are exceptions. I’d rather people safe than sorry especially when dealing with money.

I am interested to know, just because I’m nosy…what are you so excited for at walgreens? Nothing screams at me to drive the 1/2 hour to go?! also question for ya, will walgreens take expired RR? it expired on the 13th.

    Hi Janel,

The snuggle. I can get it for 2/$1 at Walgreens or 49¢ each at Tops. If I can gather enough of them at Walgreen’s I can add a filler, use a RR and only pay tax. I MUST do this tomorrow because the $3 coupon expire at midnight tomorrow.

Oops missed your second question Janel; no, Walgreen’s will not, as a general rule, accept expired RR. You might be able to sweet-talk a manager into “just this once”, but I would not count on it.

The D&Y IVC for Ricola will NOT work on this deal but the HSB will. I used both on a transaction a few weeks ago to get the Mixed Berry and the S/F both for free and the D&Y only took off for the S/F while the HSB took off for both. HTH!

Thanks Amber! I know one will, wasn’t sure which one.

Wow you were lucky, Janel. I read a lot of horror stories about the snuggle at Dollar General. Since my nearest one is 20 minutes away, I did not even bother to see if they had any stock last month.

I used my $3 snuggle at Family Dollar. It wasn’t until I got to the register the cashier read the coupon and the coupon stated something like 32 ld, which I thought said 32 oz or larger. I was buying 24 loads ($3.25). She was almost about to deny the coupons but then said – “screw it, I’ve had a bad day and I’d like SOMEONE to have a good day” and she put them through. Whew….
