Walgreens B1G1 Purex

by admin on February 28, 2010

Maybe!

Wendy left this comment:

OMG..go check your Wags for BOGO Purex at $5.99….with BOGO coupon = free….paid about $4 tax for $100 worth detergent. Some of them are labeled BOGO and some may be BOGO, but not labeled! Hooray! Go get ‘em!

Thanks Wendy!

Remember Walgreens is YMMV as to whether you can use a B1G1 coupon when you bring two items that are B1G1 up to the register. It never hurts to try! Just be prepared for the possibility of having to get 4 B1G1 items to use your B1G1 coupon. In that case, you’d pay for 1 item and get 3 free.

I must be the only one who didn’t get that B1G1 coupon. I’m so disappointed! I wish I could stock up like everyone else.

P.S. It’s because my RP didn’t have it in there; I don’t understand how my RP didn’t include it like everyone else’s :(

Lauren,

Send me your address. I have two I’m not going to use. Being single, I don’t have much laundry and I’m stockpiled for at least a year. =)

Thanks for posting this. I got to get six for three cents with the BOGO for a penny sale at CVS last Saturday with three early papers! I still have several coupons but not much room for stockpiling. Maybe just two (or four) more!

Sara,
That would be wonderful! Can you email me at pepethewepe at gmail dot com, though, so I don’t have to post my address in the comments section?
Thanks so much!

Eajacksr,

The coupon was in the 2/21/10 Red Plum insert.

Hi Lauren,

I separated your email so the spam bots would not pick it up.

You can also purchase these coupons on ebay or from a coupon clipping site. Not exactly sure if you’d get them in time though!

I hope my Walgreens still has some when I go. :)

I still have not been to WAGS to try this deal, but I read somewhere that it is a (national?) monthly deal for March. Anyone know if this is true??

Hi Rachel,

I did not have time to look for the month long deals yet, buuuut the B1G1 coupon expires on the 6th.

Wendy & Ann,
Thanks for posting this deal! I picked up 34 free bottles. No, I didn’t clear the shelves. I’ve been making a daily trip to WAGS and using 3 or 4 of those Qs at a time. I had one WAGS that wouldn’t take my Qs… but that’s WAGS!

I went tonight and used the last 7 coupons I had and got 14 bottles free! I love when free is truly FREE!! No tax on free here, so after handing over the coupons, I paid nothing!! YIPPE!! (I didn’t clear the shelves, either. They had plenty, and I mixed it up with the different smells so I wouldn’t wipe out any one kind.)

I had gotten three early papers on 2/20, so I had gotten in on the CVS deal (BOGO for a penny), so in total I shelled out THREE PENNIES for TWENTY BOTTLES of laundry soap in the last two weeks! I am set for a loooooong time. I am going to have to donate most of it since I don’t have enough space.
