Thanks for the hu, I was able to purchase the $2/1 marzetti on ebay bin for only $1.50 for 20. I will make that back on the first 4. Only problem how much of this stuff can one store and eat before it goes bad. Looks like I will be making some neighbors happy.
Those of us without gas stations get a $2 OYNO WYB 4. I’m pouting, though, because the Rochester paper only had $1/1 coupons…

I have my catalina from the pet deal last week (I must have looked odd checking out with 60 cans of friskies) and I might have stuff to spend it on this week! Wow! I also got a $2 yourbucks but don’t know why…could it be for signing up? even though that was months ago!?

Fruit2Day is on sale 10/$10 again. Go to their website and sign up for their newsletter and you can print a coupon for .45/1 making them .10 cents each after coupons.

I bought 40 of the marzettis coupons. Hopefully the 4 tops that I shop at still have them when they get here from tx. Also I love fruit2day so thank you for the heads up Suzanne. I should have $3.00 off gas right away this week YAY!!! Hopefully my co workers and neighbors like salad dressing.
hey mike. this may sound like im attacking you, but i assure you im honestly curious… youre planning on giving away 40 bottles of salad dressing to coworkers and neighbors?
the reason i post, though, is because its a slippery slope when one begins buying products in multiples of 20 and almost always results in S&G behavior. especially for products like marzettis which are not given much shelf space.
I donno Caz, if I had (40) $2 coupons I would do the deal 10x myself –
It is a 200 point bonus + 40 coupon bonus per (4) purchased at $2 would be $20 OOP for $68 in gas.
I’d be calling the local shelter if I wasn’t going to be able to use 40 bottles by June of next year (the dates I got), if I did not have a buncha kids or tons of friends and family to offload to.
There is an entire shelf of this stuff at my two closest stores, and the third store is only another 10 minutes down the road from that. Smash and grab would not be necessary.

caz, I know this wasn’t directed toward me…. but I felt because I bought 20 $2/1 and plan on buying at least that many I would answer. So to satisfy your curiosity, this is what I am doing ….. I have not even shopped yet this week, I plan on going tonight………. I am going to shop at at least 3 stores only taking four, depending on stock …….if there isn’t enough stock ……. I plan on getting RC’s I will have the whole gas period to to earn the gas points with the RC. We certainly can not eat that much (even with my family size) nor can we store it. So we will be giving some away. RC’s are a great way to extend a awesome deal. I will go in late Sat PM and purchase more and I will most likely clear the shelf if need be (being honest) at 11:00pm I figure it is fare game. Then I will get RC’s if needed.
I figure I would put this out there for people to think about, utilize those RC’s. If you grab a RC, you can always order coupons, if you can’t get the coupons ordered you aren’t out anything by getting the RC. RC’s are my next step in my couponing journey, taking full advantage of sales.

Yup, but to do the deal in the future make sure you get it for four, and make sure they indicate the gas points on the rain check. Not sure how Ida’s store does it, but I have had to go to the office to get rain checked gas points in the past. I have no done that in quite some time though, so I am not certain if front end is now able to take care of it at the register.

CS is usually closed when I shop so the night manager enters in my gas points at the register. It is a extra step though.
I didn’t know you could get a raincheck for gas points deals. What about catalina deals? I really wanted the kitty litter last week, but by the time I got to Tops, they were sold out. I know they would give a raincheck for the sale price, but what about the catalina? Just curious for the future. I love to learn from my fellow couponers.
Yes you can. I got a RC on the cat litter too, I never even saw one last week, I got a raincheck for 6 so that equals $30 needed for the cat. My experience with the cat’s is to try to get them the following week. They have a code they can punch in to prompt the cat to print up to a week. I have asked what if the product isn’t in, the manager told me they would take care of it. So I don’t know how (maybe cash dk) or how your store would handle it but I try to get it the following week to avoid extra drama.
