I think she is talking about the butterball turkey bacon two for $3.00.

Thank you for posting the tops deals. I had the ad a couple days ago and saw nothing good in it. Now I see everything I missed!

I’m frustrated! :-( Since December I’ve been buying multiple copies of the paper, stapeling the identical pages together, and filing them by date in a file cabinet. So tonight I was excited by the deals at tops, I looked thru my “file”. I have no Heintz coupon, no beach-nut coupon and my snack pack is $1.00 off of FOUR!

I know what you mean Dawn. I didn’t have any of those either but i have a bunch of trades set up for them. our denominations are always pretty junky :(

Hi Dawn,

As Amanda said, trade, trade, trade or order, order, order. Most of the north east (except Albany and metro NYC) gets really awful denominations.

I’ve been ordering from Glenda for 10 years. She’s currently switching suppliers, so I’ll have to see what this results in. She’s based in Florida, and between her, what my snow bird parents send up, and the Miami and Ft Lauderdale papers my aunt sends weekly, for doubling purposes Florida papers are some of the best denominations out.

I don’t really understand how to order coupons. Do you just pick the ones you think you might use, or wait till you have see a sale? Say I got the Tops add on Thursday and ordered Thursday night. Would the coupons arrive in time to be used on that current ad?

Tops was the only store I went to today. I put papers in my cart and brought my sissors to cut out the egglands best coupon… which of course was $1.00 of 2 not 35 cents… but it was still a good deal because the other eggs cost 1.49 and these were 1.50 with cute little “EB’s” stamped on each one. :-)

I got 4 of the Chung’s Egg Rolls for $1 a box. I have some in the oven now, they look good!

I bought the Old El Paso taco seasoning, and it printed $1.00 off your next beef or chicken purchase. I knew there would be a catalina from reading it here :-) but there was nothing on the shelf about it, so I decided to go ask at customer service. After waiting in line, both employees assured me that those things that print are just random and what you purchase makes no difference I was hoping they had a list of all the catalinas or something, turns out they dont even know what they are!

The Kraft Miracle whip or Mayo that is 2.49 with the coupon also counts as one of the “6 items for gas points”.

:-)

Hi Dawn,

When I first started ordering I’d order for the sales. The only problem with that is I would get my coupons on Saturday and have to run like a loon. Sometimes they would not show until the following Monday which meant “too bad for me”! I ended up ordering on spec. I just look at it as the cost of doing business. Back when I held garage/yard sales, I ordered a lot of coupons and they were specifically targeted towards what I would sell. That is where a price book can come in handy while learning the sale cycles.

After waiting in line, both employees assured me that those things that print are just random and what you purchase makes no difference I was hoping they had a list of all the catalinas or something, turns out they dont even know what they are!

I WISH Tops would put out sheets of the Catalinas (like they used to) and booklets on the extended sale prices (like they used to). It does get tedious having to walk the store before you actually shop to see the deals.

At least your Tops has the catalinas labeled on the shelf. At mine they hardly ever are. You would think they would WANT the people to know about it to get them to purchase more.

The egg rolls are REALLY good by the way! I’m going to go back this week and get some more. I would never have known about the coupon if it weren’t for you Ann! Thanks again and again! :-)
