If you, or someone you know, if getting married, taking advantage of wedding registries is a great way to make gift shopping easier for your guests that are inclined to purchase for you. With that in mind, I will be highlighting Wedding Gift Registries over the next few weeks.
When you sign up for the registries you start to see a reoccurring theme about what is offered. When deciding where to register, take into account whether or not you like the products sold in the store, whether they are accessible, and, what kind of free loot you will get if you decide to register with a store.
Today’s entry is for Target
Here is there FAQ
Target gives you a free Welcome Kit that you pick up in-store. That was the only benefit I could find for this program. Basically you’d sign up for a Target registry for convenience and nothing else.
Here’s a huge negative:
Returns to a Target Store: You have up to 90 days after your event date to return or exchange your items using a valid receipt, gift receipt or Gift Purchase Log. Bring your photo ID and make sure that your items are new, unused and in the original packaging with any accessories included. You will receive a GiftCard for the original purchase value of the items.

Another possible negative.
My friend just registered at Target for her baby shower. She said she was unable to return Target.com purchases to the actual Target store.
Booo!
