Sunday “Must Do” Deals

by admin on July 3, 2010

I got a $5/$15 coupon burning a hole in my pocket, and a new CVS to spend it in! First stop tomorrow morning as they open before Rite Aid.

Rite Aid, Rite Aid, Rite Aid! You meanly serialized the adperk coupons, then very nicely sent out a $5/$25 printable yesterday. Whew, you had us worried for a second there!

I will sit down and muddle through all the offerings from Rite Aid this week. And there are a lot of offering! I also have a $20 GOS coupon expiring soon, and I must use it.

I am taking a Walgreens break for a while. I must say though that I feel sorry for anyone with expiring RR that needs to roll tomorrow. Yikes.

Target doesn’t have much this week.

Tops has a few decent deals this week. I’ll stop sometime this week, but no way will I brave the place on the 4th! It will be a nuthouse. The Wegmans ad is terrible. Nuthin’ to shop for there.

As always, both A&P and Pathmark have some decent deals this week. You may want to stop if you are near.

Two stores for me tomorrow, I’ll have to see how many different Rite Aid though. So, how about you? Doing any shopping on Independence Day? If so, what stores? Or is this a holiday for you and your family yo enjoy and it will be “business” as usual on Monday morning?

I have been out of town for a while so what do you mean serialized the adperks? I went on their and print the bumpits coupon for my account and my brothers and they were the same number.

Hi Andrea,

Rite Aid went to one time use coupons on some of their adperk coupons starting last Sunday. The $5/$25s, the $5/$20 and even a few of the regular adperk video coupons are now one time use. The coupon will beep as already redeemed if you try and use a second one. They appear to be limited to one per computer too, not email account. One question we do not know the answer to is whether or not they are one per card. We are awaiting word from Rite Aid next Tuesday.

Here’s a post with some details:

I’m hoping to stop at Rite Aid before heading to DC to volunteer all day. I thought I’d burn my +up on a couple papers and the Blink eye drops. Other than that, I don’t see a whole lot I want next week. :(

Ha!!! So I’ve been all jealous that you got coupons in the mail when your CVS opened, and we didn’t get anything when ours opened back in February. I was just looking through TODAY’s mail and now we get a $5/$15 and $25 prescription transfer coupon to celebrate the new opening here. You know, the new opening last FEBRUARY!!!

I used the Rite Aid $5/25 yesterday and today. Both times it beeped and had to have a managers approval. It’s not helping my whole “fly under the radar deal”! lol I wonder why it beeps?

I think another thing which has changed is earlier the coupons would take the tax off as well…Now they dnt??Has this changed too or it is a glitch???

I had a coupon for a $1 which i could have used but the machine did not take it cause the amt left on the register was my tax…earlier it even took the tax off???Has this been changed??

I’ll definitely hit the RA and CVS first thing in the morning and then I’ll have the rest of the day to celebrate!

Today I used a lot of adperks from June and didn’t have any problems. I bought 6 veets, 6 coppertones, 8 candy bars, 4 Aveeno shampoos, 2 aveeno lotions, and 16 apple juices bottles and used multiple in-ad, video and manuf coupons plus many $5 off $20. I never heard a beep and ended up paying $5.64 and will get $20 back in Aveeno rebates. (I could have paid $4.14 but I forgot a coupon :)

Hi Ash,

I a true Rite Aid store coupon takes off tax, but a manufacturer-Rite Aid coupon (may not be readily apparent to the customer) does not. This is for NYS only. Other states have their own tax laws concerning manufacturer and store coupons.

Hi Dawn,

I do not know. I wonder if it is not in the system yet?

Ann,

I just read on another site that others are having the same problem with that pdf coupon. Maybe tomorrow it will be ok.

On another note, I didn’t know that the last 6 digits of the Adperk coupons are the expiration date! Just when I thought I knew it all…. LOL ;-)

I think I’ll go to Rite Aid while out for a late morning breakfast with hubby. But… I just looked outside and Abbie (the dog) has my newspaper scattered all around the yard. Hopefully my Rite Aid sales paper is intact… along with the coupons! ;)

Hey everyone, my favorite riteaid seems to have changed the coupon policy. Now the $5 off $25 adperk coupon is the last one they use. They scanned all my other coupons first, so it brought my order down to $21.44 but luckily I had a $5 off 20 coupon that I got from our recycling rewards. A few week ago they let me use both and I really cleaned up.

Hi Karr,

Call corporate. Policy is to take it at the beginning. The machine will take it anywhere in the order as long as you hit $25 after wellness+ card.
