Sunday “Must Do” Deals

by admin on May 8, 2010

I figured that with tomorrow being Mother’s Day that the deals would be light. Not necessarily so!

I have a bunch of RR that expire tomorrow, so it is off to Walgreens I go.

I plan on doing the following:
(1) Schick Hydro $7.99
(1) Eos Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream $2.99
(1) Tuf Paper Towel 59¢ (or the 39¢ candy, haven’t decided)
= $11.57
- $5 manufacturer coupon
= $6.57
- (2) $3 RR
= 57¢

and continue with that order until I flip the RR I have left. I believe I have (8) $3 RR. That means I’m going to end up with (8) $3 RR + (8) $5 RR. AND I have another $5 RR that I earned this week.

EEK! So much for a Walgreens break. I’m going to end up with $64 in RR, and still have that $5 one left over that I did earlier this week.

Then I am off to CVS to flip a few ECB. I hope. I definitely must go to CVS this week. Whether or not it is tomorrow depends on what Sonny-boy’s Mother’s Day plans are for me.

Normally, I would be all over Rite Aid since it is an easy money maker on one order. Buuuuut I gave away all the coupons for each item that I had that would make the deal work in RAOK yesterday.

I need to stop at Target this week and do the Windex outdoor deal (Target newspaper insert coupon), but it does not require my stopping in tomorrow.

My first glance at the Kmart ads was eh, until I saw the Motrin and the Cereal deal! While I will not be going, it really is a pretty decent week at KMart.

A&P has a few free after coupon items, Pathmark has some cheaps, but no frees, Tops has nothing great that forces me to run in, and even though Wegmans isn’t thrilling, I am running in for cookies.

Looks like my tomorrow morning consists of Walgreens and Wegmans and possibly CVS. How about you? What are your Sunday “Must Do” Deals?

i know i have to stop in office depot for sure to drop off old ink cartridges. i need some other misc for a project i’m working on. i want to get to rite aid for the tresemme, eventually target for some q’s i need to use soon. and cvs to flip some ecb’s. so i guess just basically about every where!

can you believe the post office was closed today!!! and an hr before closing! i was so mad because i had the food to drop off and some stuff to mail. oh well it’ll just sit the car for now, i guess monday i’ll head out there and send stuff off too and now i have to find a food bank (just found a drop off location-yay and it’s down the street from me!), good grief we just found the self serve recycle place and there are no big signs that tell u its even there, if i was driving by myself i probably wouldn’t have found it. so sad, makes me wonder how they expect people to recycle if there aren’t big signs directing you there. the gps didn’t even find the street it’s on. this town is just a hot mess sometimes. but surely it will get better with time–i hope :)

Heads up for the Bayer meter at CVS. I just got back and the Contour is $19.99. BUT, it only printed $5 in ECBs. I inquired and looked at the ad with the cashier and she manually printed another $10 for me. Make sure to look over your receipt and ECBs! Otherwise, it was a great moneymaking trip! I love going Saturday night to double dip as my CVs turns on deals early!
Happy Mother’s Day Ann!

I MUST go to Wags or else I will lose $60 in RRs, then again Monday because another $50 will expire. (I don’t think I want to spend my Mother’s Day hanging around Wags all day trying to flip all $110!) I will also be getting myself one of the new rewards cards. No plans thus far for shopping anywhere else.

I am doing Wag’s this morning and probably CVS. Did tons of deals yesterday at Target. They paid me to shop. Ann, what is the Outdoor deal. I have been thinking about that product. Thanks.

Rhonda the outdoor window cleaner is $12.99 – $5 manufacturer coupon (5/9/10 SS) = $7.99 + I have this coupon: Purchase one (1) Windex Outdoor All-in-One Starter Kit, Receive $5 Target Gift Card (from the 5/2/10 SS) which makes for a decent deal.

I have those same coupons Ann. Looks like I will be doing that deal. Also, Target just released an additional Target coupon for the Hydro Razors. If you can print two, it is a money maker with the gift card. Wags went great this am even with Hubby along. Got all of my razors and some shave cream plus candy for my 90 year old aunt that she loves. Yesterday, when I was in CVS the magic coupon machine printed out a $3.00 off two bags of M&Ms. So, of course, I had to use it and the B2G1. So, three bags of Dark Chocolate M&Ms for 1.41 total this am. So, yes, for me an overall bountiful trip.
