Sunday “Must Do” Deals

I am tired. Right now I am unsure if I am going to go shopping tomorrow morning (oh who am I kidding, I can’t resist free!), but if I do wander out, this is where I am going:

Rite Aid. duh It always seems to be Rite Aid! I just cannot resist the cheap/free stuff they offer no matter how difficult it has become to shove the linen closet closed with all the freebies I’ve accumulated. I see a donation run in my very near future.

I know I should go to Walgreens, after all, how often does Walgreens have stuff that is free or profit without involving a RR?

But I won’t.

I very well may hit CVS to flip some ECB. They have some decent deals … and they aren’t Walgreens.

Believe it or not, Kmart has a few good deals this week. While not a Sunday “Must Do” for me, I am going into the city Monday and very well may stop.

Sunday is the day to do the Kellogg’s fruit crisps deal at Target since the newspaper coupon expires at midnight on the 7th.

I’ll definitely head to Tops sometime this week to do the doublers, but not Sunday. Tops is a madhouse on Sunday and I’d rather go during a weekday morning when the shelves are full and there are fewer shoppers.

If you are in the area, Pathmark has some great deals. A&P? Not so much.

So tomorrow, if I get a boost of energy, will be Rite Aid and CVS. Should be short and sweet although hubby was making noises about wanting to stop at Aldi’s. *sigh* Next thing you know he’ll be tacking on Big Lots and we’ll be going from short and sweet to long and tiring.

So, what are your Sunday “must Do” deals!?

Ann, where is your fighting spirit? I have an inkling that you and hubby will make an adventure of it.

    My must do deals -

    Wags
I am going to do the reach deal and use the overage on John Freida. Plus, I have RRs I need to roll. I am doing the Crunch with the BOGO candy bar for hubby and his golfing buddies (they are venturing out Monday – so I will be fixing their treat bags, baked goods and lunch). I need some refill pads for my Swiffer so I will do that deal. I may do a Renpure. I have done one already and some Diet Coke (3/10 in our area this week).

Then off to Dollar General to get Olay Botanicals Body Wash for .25. The Botanicals Vitality is regular 2.50 on sale for 1.25 so 1.00 after Q. Great for anyone waiting to do the rebate. Donation item for us.

Next, will be Schnucks for .20 Land O Lakes, .30 BirdsEye SteamFresh, .20 Betty Crocker Skillets Hash Browns and a few items to make my hubby a pie.

I will do more misc. deals later in the week and hit CVS for the Kelloggs deal.

Finally, home to cook all day. French Beef Stew, Horseradish and Black Pepper tenderloin, cookies of some sort, sandwich for the golfers, and whatever else I feel like.

    Great Shopping Everyone,

    Rhonda

    Hi Ann,

I think I hit the jackpot today. I went looking for styrofoam coolers at the Dollar Tree since I’ve seen them being sold there from time to time. Well, I spied a stack of Sunday ads at the front entrance…I looked through the pile and found them to be part of the early Sunday paper, which I had no idea existed. Whoever bought those papers didn’t want the ads and the COUPON inserts, so the clerk told me I could take them for FREEEEEEE. Anyways, I’m going to hit Rite Aid with the high value coupons from these free inserts before leaving for Haiti. Down side to this story – no coolers were found.

Nice deal on the papers! Can’t beat free.

And hitting Rite Aid before leaving on vacation is something I would totally do! Have a great time Tegan!

I have a question about Tops doublers. In the fine print it states must spend $15 after all discounts/coupons and before tax. Do you make sure to do this? I don’t usually buy much at my Tops, only what is on good sale + coupon, so after coupons I rarely spend $15. I am thinking I will try my best but am not going out of my way to spend $15 LOL but I’d like to use the doublers. I guess I could buy some meat or something… hmm.

    Hi Felicia,

It has to be $15 after bonus card, but before coupons or doublers. You could pad with free coupons or coupons that will result in cheap after doubled to pad (like the Quaker snacks that $1.67 – 75¢ coupon doubled = 17¢ but the $1.67 counts towards your $15)
