Sunday “Must Do” Deals

by Ann on February 13, 2010

Tomorrow I gotta go to Rite Aid. I didn’t go this week and I am going through withdrawal. I don’t know what I’m going to buy since I did the Olay deal today, and I don’t need diapers, but I do know I AM going to Rite Aid tomorrow.

But, I am starting with CVS. I have $20 in ECB that expire Tuesday, so CVS it is. I think I’ll get main deals I listed. What the heck, they’ll roll until next month.

Hubby and I need to shop at Tops tomorrow. I had planned on buying filet mignon for a Valentine’s dinner tomorrow (I refuse to go out on such an expensive holiday), and then send for a nbpr refund while I was at Tops today, but forgot. So, Tops is a “must do” tomorrow.

Target has a few decent deals tomorrow. Since I already did the Olay offer, I’ll pass.

If you have a baby, it is definitely worth checking out the Gerber deal at Kmart.

If you are in the area, Pathmark and A&P have some decent deals.

Well, I saved the worst for last. Unfortunately, I have register rewards expiring so I’ll be heading over to Walgreens to burn them. I don’t plan on/want to flip them since I am Walgreens-weary. Who knows what I’ll decide once I get there though.

So, tomorrow looks pretty busy for me; all three drug store and a Tops run. How about you? What are your Sunday “Must Do” deals?

I am going to Rite Aid tomorrow b/c every time I wait (usually until Tuesday) things that I want are gone! I also have to go to Walgreens because I have RR that are going to expire…

I am Walgreens Weery as well. I wish the RR’s didn’t expire so fast! Nearest wags is 30 minutes away and we only go to the city 2x’s a month. Thankfully they are getting ready to open a new wags in our town but I will probably only shop there when it’s a REALLY good deal. Like the diapers this week. Couponing is complicated enough without trying to keep that Wags register happy. Thanks for everything!

That’s the spirit Ann. Sometimes, you just need a store fix – even if just to smell the place. LOL

BTW, we are having tenderloin filet tomorrow. Already marinating. Yum… We refuse to go out also. May do bfast – depends on the weather.

P.S. Wags horror story from this week. I was in a huge snit between the beagle surgery stress and I thought I accidently/stupidly threw away 40 in RR and a rebate receipt. I was ill about it. Hubby even had to call my Mom and tell her because I had been quite the grouch. But, today I FOUND THEM. YEAH, HAPPY DANCE. Hubby did the super happy dance. So, I went and rolled them earlier.

I don’t think I will be doing RA tomorrow. I should go get 2 rainchecks for the Nivea BW and the Dove (2 hrs til closing), but I don’t know. I’m kinda lazy. I’ve been to RA this week and kept forgetting to ask for the rainchecks. :( I do need the diapers, but I don’t feel like I have to go on Sunday for this one since it’s not FAR.

I have to do Walgreens cause my RR is expiring as well. Not sure what I’m getting but pretty sure that I’m not rolling them either.

CVS – must go as well, the only drug store i’ve been to is RA so I have expiring ECBs as well. Again, not sure what to get yet.

I would like to go to Waldbaums or S&S – i need milk, and all sorts of stuff, fruits, veggies etc.

After 4 trips to RA, 1 trip to Wags,1 trip to Boyer’s(local regional grocery) as well as 10 trips to roll Cats at Weis Markets this week on top of 10 trips to roll Cats last week at Price Chopper I can hardly MOVE!lolol The thought of having to hit RA AGAIN on Sunday is just too much for me. I need a full week off…to rest and to at the least put away all this stuff from last week and this week.lolol I’ll have to venture out later in the week back to Price Chopper to use Cats that are expiring.
I’ll probably just sleep in and let DH get me some papers. We might go out for lunch at the local chinese place….it doesn’t tend to get crowded but since it’s Valentine’s Day you just never know.lol
I hope everyone has a great Sunday! Just be quiet doing it, and don’t wake me too early…. ;-)

I went into Tops three times after work tonight doing the dollar doublers, I don’t want to ever see Tops again! lol We have enough fish to last us an entire year and although I don’t really care about expiration dates, they don’t expire until Feb of 2011!

I think Rite Aid is becoming my favorite store. They will give you a rain check for a SCR, unlike walgreens. Have you ever tried entering a rebate after the rebate period is over? Is it a big hassle?
