Wow--I have no idea what you ladies are talking about with Rite Aid and Walgreens and making money on the stuff you purchase there. I do pretty well with grocery coupons but have yet to tackle the drug store game. Thanks for posting about your successes--It gives me something to aspire to!

Hi Wendy,

If you really want to do #68 this week:

Citrucel and Phazyme are both $11.99 + the $3.99 box you found:

(1) $11.99
(1) $11.99
(1) $3.99
= $27.97
- $5/$25 RA coupon
= $22.97
- $10/3 manufacturer coupon
= $12.97
- $10.00 Rite Aid Gift Card = $2.97

Now, if you want to find a store that has more of the $3.99:

(7) $3.99
= $27.93
- $5/$25 RA coupon
= $22.93
- (2) $7/2 manufacturer coupon
- (1) $10/3 manufacturer coupons
= Errrr too much. That would be free as long as they'd adjust the last coupon, or if you do not want to deal with it, give (3) $7/2 coupon
= $1.93 OOP + Receive $10 RA gift card

Hi Gita,

That's why I was <i> very </i> tempted to get items at RA I did not need... no tax means it was all free (well a $5 moneymaker every $25) even without coupons.

I stopped at second RA that had about 20 poligrip on the shelf. Wish I had had more free coupons with me.

Walgreen's was just newspapers with RR's.

Took a long time to organize for Rite Aid. Spent $21 will get back $47.Did rebate #77 buying a total of 6 Herbal Essence shampoo and 6 styling product. Today's paper had a buy shampoo and get styling product free. Also used 6 ($1) and split it into 2 orders. Will receive back a $10 gift card.

Trying to come up with a deal on #68. Buy $25 Advantage products and get a $10 gift card. There was a box of Phazyme for $3.99, but they only had 2. Coupons in today's paper...$10 off 3.

You were lucky to find the last Poligrip. I was at 2 Rite Aids and didn't find any and I really wanted to use the Free Coupon! There is a third Rite Aid that I can walk to so I'll try them.

I managed to get 11 of the 14 free items. I got lots of stuff I'm not going to use but all of this week's items (except the Poligrip) don't have sales tax so they are really free. I had coupons for 4 of the items so those were money makers. The best one was the $3 coupon I had for the Chloraseptic Allergen Block. Between the 4 coupons, the $5/$25 coupon and the $2 Discover coupon, I made $13.

Walgreens has a really great deal on Skippy peanut butter especially if you were lucky enough to get the .75 coupons in last weekend's inserts. The Skippy is 3/$5 and if you buy 8, you get $8 in register rewards. The 8 Skippys came to $13.34. I had 7 coupons ($5.25) so after the register rewards my cost was 9 cents!!! If you have 8 coupons, you can make a profit. I didn't mind having only 7 because I could use a $2.50 register rewards that was expiring today.

Walgreens also has a good deal on the Quaker Instant oatmeal (2/$5) and you get $5 in register rewards if you spend $10. I had 2 $1.25/2 coupons so my net cost for 4 boxes was $2.50.

I usually have problems at Walgreens but today was problem free!

We have a <a href="http://couponsdealsandmore.com/uncategorized/do-you-have-a-fridge-in-your-garage/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> garage 'fridge </a> that we store them in. The lady at the stand was impress when I told her they finally have up the ghost in June from last year's purchase.

You may want to check out my Stockpile Recipes for what to do with apples, squash, etc.
