Many of you use a lot of printable coupons. And many of you use Red Plum coupons. com and Smart Source as your printable go-to sites.
As you know, these sites have ever changing coupons available – especially coupons. com. And like the newspaper, many of these printable coupons are released in certain zip codes, so people quickly learn to search “good” zip codes.
But no one really seems to share what zip codes they have good luck with. A few years ago 90210 was the best zip code out, but then everyone figured that out and it did not take long for all the released coupons in that zip code to disappear quickly. The manufacturers must be thrilled so many multi-millionaire film stars use their 55¢ coffee creamer coupons!
When I search for you all, I try and search different points of the country, and these are the zip codes I check most frequently:
• 07302
• 02180
• 10069
• 22222
• 33133
• 60609
• 77477 (usually has the most available coupons)
• 80033
• 84121
• 89145
• 99128
What “good” zip codes do you use to search the printable sites?

I also use some very similar zip codes – like 02139 – MA, metro Boston so it’s close to your 02180 — and 10036 (Manhattan) which is close to your 10069 (probably also Manhattan?)… both those zip codes aren’t great IMO.
I also use a Houston TX area zip code as that’s my cousin’s zip and TX seems to get good coupons – not sure why? (ie close to your 77477 code).
Finally, a metro DC (MD to be exact) zip that is another relative. 20902. This one is ok. Usually better than my NY zip codes but not the best by far.
Thank you for the different zip codes. I was wondering what were the better ones to check and this list will be helpful.
I find that 90210 is a good one too.
The ones you tell us too!
I usually do 90210 or 77477. Thanks Ann.
This is very interesting info. I will have to keep this article on my computer somewhere. I always just rely on the blog to post the zip code.
I travel around the country a lot so I just use the zip code of places I visit. One is 30097 which has some good Publix coupons.
Thanks for the list. It’s sometimes frustrating to not be able to get in on a great coupon. And thanks Liz for the additional zip codes.
I use 90210 a lot also. Not sure if the coupons are good because it’s such a well known zip code or what, but it usually works for me. Thanks for the list Ann!!!
i too tend to use 90210 the most. sometimes 12345 i dont know what it is but somes i get lucky
I only use the zip codes that I see here and on some other sites. Actually, sometimes I just punch in 5 random numbers to see what happens! (I guess my computer and I spend way too much time together!)
Stafford, TX – 77477 – my hometown, is getting popular around other blogs also! Hope prints don’t start running out quickly…
My question on the zip codes, is why are there different coupons for different zip codes? IE, what I really want to know is as of yet, I have felt uncomfortable typing in other zip codes to get a coupon that isn’t available in my zip code, and I am curious should I be uncomfortable, or does no one else consider it circumventing manufacturers wishes? (Even though manufacturers may claim that trading coupons goes against them, but I do that.)
Skirnir, I always look at it as the same thing as if you swapped coupons with your friend or relative in another city or state, or if you purchased coupons from someone else who had them and you didn’t.
Thanks for sharing that, Ann! I always wonder why I can’t get some of the coupons people list!
It seems to me, a lot of times, 90210 has higher value coupons! I also like 92801!
Thanks for all your help.
Thanks for the heads up! I too thought 90210 was the best, but recently came across 77477.
Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to find some great coupons
thanks everyone for the great tips. happy couponing!!
Thanks for the zips. I use 77477 but like to hunt around in others. I’ll save these to my desktop.
I didn’t realize you could change the zip code. Thanks for the info.
I use the ones you tell us about. Mainly 77477, I got that on from you, and it is a good one!
Oooh, thanks so much for the list! Now to find a way to bookmark this post for now
I use the ones that have already been listed, but thanks Ann and everyone else for the list in one place.
OK. I am bookmarking this post for future reference. Not only the list that you posted but I am going to be checking some of the ones in the comments too. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
Thank you for the list, it’s very helpful.
92111 San Diego
Thank you for sharing your list…I’m always looking at different zip codes but I usually stick with whatever code you share
I’m also going to bookmark this post. I appreciate all that you do and share with us.
I posted a wrong zip code. 93308 is Bakersfield CA. Then we moved to Alhambra CA and it’s 91801. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks for sharing your zips!!! My is 30102 want to share the love!
My zip is 30102
Thanks for the list of zips for the coupons, I write them down but they always get thrown away because I write it on scrape paper, now I have a list to hand up on office board. Thanks
For the West Coast I use 90210 (yes I used to watch the show on Fox) and for the East Coast I use 02134 (Remember Zoom? – it was on Channel 11 in Chicagoland in the 70′s, (PBS) when I was growing up!!) I am such a product of watching too much tv growing up!
Thanks for the tips on different country zone zips to check for coupon availability!!
For those writing down the zips and losing the scraps of paper they were written on (I can totally relate
), or bookmarking the page – only to forget exactly what you called it in your very large book-marks index – here’s a suggestion: I just started using my email as a reference for internet sites, or important information I want to reference quickly. So, for this, what I did was copy and paste the zip codes, and enter them on to a new email that I send to myself. which I titled zip codes to check for coupon availability. Once I receive the email from myself – I then “move” it to a file I created in hotmail called couponing. – Voila – I can find it pretty easy, and I don’t lose it! Hope this helps!!
