Everyone can use a little extra cash, right?

Sign up for SavingStar a no-muss way to earn cash for your purchases.

You add the virtual “coupons” to your card, and instead of getting money off your bill, you will receive credit and can cash out at $5 to your paypal account.

This means you can also use a manufacturer cents-off coupon too!

So click here to sign up for SavingStar

i love this concept! i haven’t used any of my ‘coupons’ from savingstar yet, but i love that you can add the same coupon to all of your cards AND that you can use a mfg coupon as well! this is such a great idea!

I signed up for this several weeks ago but haven’t received any kind of refund or have I noticed any coupons coming off my receipts. Maybe it takes a while to go through? I’m not sure if I understand the concept :(

I, too, signed up for this and I haven’t noticed anything coming off! I really am a dufus when it comes to the whole loading coupons onto your card concept. I will keep trying….

No no! Nothing is coming off at the register.

Let’s say saving star is offering 75¢ on widget A.

You go to the store. Widget A is $2. You use a coupon for 50¢ off Widget A.
You pay $1.50

Several week later you check your savingstar account and notice a 75¢ credit for buying… Widget A.

You can cash out at $5 and send it to paypal.

Think if SavingStar as a rebate program rather than a coupon program.

I am up to $15.00. I love it! Will probably use it for amazon gift cards. I wish there were more offers… I guess in time

Oh… Does the credit expire or does it stay there until you “cash out”? I noticed that the “coupons” expire. Since this something new, I tend to always make things harder than they are ;)

Once you’ve earned the credit it never expires, but you do need to redeem the “coupon” by a certain time – just like you would a paper coupon.
