My mail today was outstanding! I got a ton of great stuff (like checks) including the $30 L’Oreal SCR check and the $20 RA Gift of savings gift certificate (it expires 2/28/10). Wonderful turn around when you realize I requested these on September 15th… and today is the 28th! Less than two weeks.
You can be sure that the Gift of Savings certificate will be used on an all tax order. Since it is a store coupon in NYS that deducts tax. We don’t have tax on food or meds, but we do have tax on hair care products, cleaning supplies and the like. I need to go see what kind of “magic” next week’s deals will offer.

btw – does the 5/20 cpns take off some of the tax in our state?
I think I spent about $12-$15 total after all rebates including the GOS was taken into account. Not too shabby considering I started out the month spending $12 even after taking into account the $10 SCR on 4 Oral B toothbrushes that everyone else probably got for free or better since I didn’t have any of the $2/1 cpns. More importantly just some of the GCs from previous month were used up. Not as good as others, but not too bad. I got over $200 worth of stuff according to GOS tally.
