We spent the last two days in Johnson City, Tennessee. I only went to one property and the folks there were really nice letting me use the laundry facilities in the corporate apartment (almost all apartment complexes have XX corporate apartments that are on short term lease to… corporations) and it was a great, quiet place to set up my computer. Some of these leasing offices are very busy and therefore, have a lot of distractions.
That and I like to talk.
Since I spent all day Wednesday working on the blog, I did not get to see many of the sites. I did , however, get to see the one thing I really, really, REALLY wanted to visit:

YAY!
Now I did not have the opportunity to use any of their great weekly coupons – I could not see how I could get bacon and eggs home and still be certain we would not be die of salmonella poisoning. But, I picked up 1,347,515 organic product tear pad coupons! You have never seen so many tear pad coupons in your life!
It was the anti-WalMart!
Actually it was just like Wild Oats, if anyone remembers those. Small, clean, and very organic!
I bought two bags to add to my reusable bag collection. We also spent $50! It was like Whole Foods on steroids or something.
And now we are on our way to Raleigh for a quick in and out. I’d have loved to stop at High Point (OMG the furniture mart is bankrupt and he just handed the keys over to the bank instead of refinancing!? What other purpose could there be for that building?) and shopped for a rug for the kitchen, but no time. Maybe next week at (blech) Ikea.

OMG..organic coupons..what a dream!
LOL! Ann, I should know better than to read your blog while out in the living room with the family! Hubby and the boys were all preoccupied with toys and the television while I was reading your blog on my phone. When I read your comment about how many organic tearpad coupons you grabbed I burst out in laughter and as usual got the strange looks from the “guys”. When I told hubby what was so funny he just rolled his eyes. He will never understand
You mean you drove straight by Hickory and didn’t stop to visit me?!?!
And we could have gone shopping!
North Carolina is a quick in and out. I’ll be gone before the afternoon is very old.
