Coupon Inserts 1/3/10

by Ann on December 31, 2009

Well I’d like to say the preview is as good as it is going to be until Saturday but that is not exactly true. One of my sources is a bit late, so I may be adding things before Saturday. We’ll work with what is there for now. Check out the preview here at 2010 Coupon Insert Coupons. There are three Smart Source and two Red Plum this week. This is normally the best couponing week of the year. We shall see and judge in the upcoming weeks if that hold true for 2010 as well.

These are what I consider to be the best coupons this week (and there’s a lot of them!)

• Marcal Small Steps Towel or Facial Tissue Free (value to $1) – for those, like hubby, that like sandpaper on their nose… well the paper towels absorb
• Finish Quantum Powerball Tabs or Gelpacs $2.50 – kinda free at Walgreen… $3.50 + you’ll get a $1 RR
• McCormick Spice or Herb 75¢ – ’cause you know, we don’t already have too many falling off the lazy-Susan when it spins
• Nivea Lip Care B1G1 (value to $3.99) – these are B1G1 at RA, omgomgomgomg, TWO free!
• Stayfree B1G1 (value to $7.50) – these are B1G1 at RA, omgomgomgomg, TWO free!

And many, many more coupons. There are some that expire in 2011 which means that expiration dates are elongating. Even the GM coupons this week are good for nearly two months and they have been notorious for short-dated coupons. Well, Colgate is still determined to stick with their under-30-days dates though.

If you receive a coupon in your inserts I do not have listed, please send me an email with the product, denomination, expiration date and whether it was in RP or SS and I’ll add it to the list!

Hopefully you will get wonderful denominations!

When I used my wellness card at RA on Sunday the $2 newspaper was discounted to $1.60.

Wow Wendy I must try that! Especially since I don’t have an RR to get them free this week, and I have the $3/$15 to boot!

I just recieved a “Wellness one day 10% shopping pass” in the mail. It lists the rewards you get for each level. I must have reached 125 points to get this. It says when you get to 1,000 points you will get “20% off all non-prescription purchases every day” (through the calendar year). Do you think maybe you have 1,000 points Wendy?

I checked my account and I have 206 points and get 20% off all purchases. Maybe it is a mistake. Guess everyone should check their account.

Well I am definitely going to give it a try Sunday. I never did the meters and since they are in the ad I don’t expect any at Walgreens, so with no free RR there is no reason to get my papers there.

On the other hand, Rite Aid, once again, has tons of free stuff and I have $3/$15 and $4/$20 coupons. No matter what they will discount my paper cost this week.

I will definitely report back on Sunday.
