Do you know if you can do a price match at Target with a gift card deal? My local grocery store has their fudge shop cookies on sale for $1.69. That would make a pretty good deal with Target’s gift card deal.
Hi Jessica,
The Target Gift Card Policy excludes gift card offers, but I am pretty sure that means if the store you are price matching to offered a gift card, Target will not match THAT part of the deal.
I’d give it a go. All you have to lose if 10 minutes if they interpret the policy differently.
Ann
Thanks!
I went to 2 Targets and price checked all the fudge shoppe products at the scanner. Each Target had diffrent sale prices. At one, the Fudge Stripe and Fudge Grahams were $1.52 and at another the Grashoppers and Fudge Stix were $1.69. The first store had the shelf marked with the sale prices but they did not scan correctly at the register. The second store did not have the correct prices marked on the shelves but it all rang in correctly at the register. So…. check with the scanner, you might not need the price match!
Went to Target & found the Fur Fighter’s for $3.99, but cashier would not take the coupon because it was for $4.00,said I could use it on the one for $7.99. Which I did not do because I felt they could have adjusted the coupon
Peggy print this out and go back to Target. If the cashier does not want to adjust, ask for a manager. If that does not produce results, call customer service while in line.
But, showing them the Target coupon policy where is says:
Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied should be plenty.
