Last week I had asked for help with Stockpile Recipes. I am running low on idea, and quite frankly, wouldn’t mind trying some new recipes from the stockpile myself!
Several of you were good enough to email me stockpile recipes, and I will be posting those over the next few weeks (I can always use more if anyone wants to send!)
The first recipe is from Cathy C who writes:
This recipe is a good potluck type dish. Enjoy!
Thanks Cathy! I’m sure we will!
Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese
16 oz. elbow macaroni, cooked according to directions (I did it slightly less so it doesn’t get mushy, can use the quick cook that has been free.)
1/2 cup margarine, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 cup milk
4 cups shredded cheddar, divided
1/8 tsp. paprika
• Mix macaroni and melted butter together and put in slow cooker.
• In medium bowl, mix eggs, evaporated milk, cheese soup, milk and 3 cups of the shredded cheese.
• Pour over macaroni mixture and stir.
• Cover and cook on Low approximately 4 hours.
• Sprinkle with remaining cheese and paprika.
