Rite Aid Update

by Ann on March 7, 2010

Arrrgggghhhhh! I just noticed the John Frieda/Biore/Jergens is a Limit 3 offer. Wonder if I should get more papers!? Even buying one paper makes it a $1 money maker without a $3/$15, a $4 MM with the $3/$15 coupon:

(2) Biore
(1) John Frieda
= $15
- $3/$15 rite aid coupon
= $12
- (3) $1 adperk coupons
= $9
- $5 B1G1 biore coupon
= $4
- $3 John Frieda coupon
= $1
- $5 SCR
= $4 money maker

For one $2 newspaper. OK I think I convinced myself, I need to get two more newspapers to do this deal 3 times max this week.

Can’t you get 20% off on your papers at Rite Aid? I’m hoping to do the John Frieda deal 3 times and pay only tax.

how come the paper says Limit one and the SCR booklet says limit 3? i just think it’s kind of weird.

My morning was fantastic! I love Rite Aid’s Wellness program because I now get 20% off my newspaper. I did the following three times this morning:

4 Simply Ageless Covergirl 15.99

2 B1G1F coupons

2 Boston Globe’s 4.00 but with Wellness 3.20.

Then I used a 5/25 and ended up getting my papers for $1.40. I did this three times and got 6 papers 4.20, about the cost of one. Yippee!

Hi DD,

Sometimes I do not think one hand knows what the other is doing… well that and the paper booklets are made up months in advance and online can updated at anytime.

I just got back from RA, they are having a awesome clearance deal on John Frieda, marked down to 3.24 for shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, gel I am so glad I bought 5 papers today. They did give me a hard time the b1g1 on the cover girl, so I left without it, when I got home I called and got it straightened out. Arghr that means another trip.

Hi Bitel,

While I would not suggest copying and carrying the policy posted at various sites (I would suggest emailing Rite Aid for your own copy with your name and a current date listed), the truth of the matter is your Rite Aid is misinformed. Rite Aid actually did not begin to accept a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 sale as corporate policy until 2009. It was not a corporate-wide policy prior to that.

Give corporate a call today, ask for a copy of the corporate coupon policy to be emailed (or snail mailed) to you, and ask them to call the store and set them straight.

Ann, I have 2 qs
1. where do you get $1 coupons for Biore?
2. there is a rebate for 3 Biore, but you are only buying 2?
Thanks!

Hi Tatiania,

The Biore rebate is actually a John Frieda/Biore/Jergens SCR and a limit of THREE! Update here So I combined the Biore with the John Frieda.

The $1 Biorie coupon is an adperk coupon. Although now that you mention it I think I have a tear pad coupon in my office. I’ll have to dig that out before going back for my other two offers.

How do you get multiple adperk coupons? Multiple accounts?
Thanks!

Hi Jen,

While you definitely could do that, why bother? Just sent your printer to print however many alike adperk coupons you want.

Ann if you buy 2 biore and 2 jf in one transaction,
use 2 $3 coupons for JF, one B1G1 for Biore and $1 ad perk for each item, then your total is $20 before coupons, you can use $5 off $20, pay $0.00 oop (actually just tax) and get $5 rebate.
