Rite Aid P&G Deal

by admin on August 28, 2010

These deals were reworked after comments below!

I am going to check of this Pantene deal can be done more than once:

Pantene Restoratives Beautiful Lengths $4 - $2 manufacturer coupon (from the 8/29/10 P&G insert) = $2 and Receive $2 +Up reward
P&G $10/$30 MIR

IF it can be done more than once:

(8) separate Pantene orders
= $32
= $16 in coupons
= $16
- (8) $1 Rite Aid Pantene coupon Thanks Tegan!
= $8
- $10 MIR
= $2 profit + Receive (8) $2 +UP rewards

From Ms Benjamins:
A friend has confirmed in Southern Cal that you can buy at least 2 Pantene Restoratives and get (2) $2 Ups in a single transaction.
I don’t know what the limit is though.

(Southern California ads start early for those wondering)

When I did the Rite Aid weekly deal write up the P&G coupon form began 9/1/10. It has been changed to 8/20/10, so you can double dip.

Purchase $50 worth of participating P&G products, Receive $15 +Up reward

Clearly you can do this deal for free with:
(57) Gain
= $50.73
- (57) $1 gain coupon adjusted to 89¢
= Free

But even if you can gather 57 gain coupons by tomorrow morning (or 52 if you use a 5/25 rite aid coupon), the odds of your store having 57 gain dishwashing soap are about… none.

So, here’s a more reasonable idea:

(4) Gillette Deodorant 2/$8
(4) Gillette Body Wash 2/$8
(2) Oral B Manual Toothbrush $2.69
(1) Tampax $2.99
(1) Crest Rinse or Toothpaste $4.99
(6) Gain Dishwashing Soap 89¢
= $50.70
- $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon
= $45.70
- (4) Gillette Purchase one (1) Gillette Deodorant, Receive one (1) Gillette Body Wash Free coupons
= $29.70
- (4) $2 Gillette body wash coupons (these expire 8/31/10)
= $21.70
- (1) oral b B1G1 coupon
= $19.01
- $1 oral b coupon
= $18.01
- $1 tampax coupon
= $17.01
- $1 crest coupon
= $16.01
- (6) $1 gain coupons (adjusted down to 89¢ each)
= $10.67
- $4 SCR
= $6.67
- $1 Tampax Rite Aid coupons Thanks Tegan!
= $5.67 + receive $15 +Up reward

Here’s my weekly deal write-up Looks like another big week at Rite Aid!

Here’s a $1 RA coupon for any Pantene product. There are a few other goodies too. http://selfconnected.com/getit_riteaid3.asp

Figures where there is a really good week I’ll be in an area where there is no Rite Aid. Oh so jealous! Hopefully I can get home by the weekend and there will be something left!

I really like the fact that the 57 gain scenario has occurred to you Ann!

Ann, in your $50 scenario what products qualify for the $10 MIR? I am confused.

It doesn’t Tatiana, I was making up things as I went along. With Tegan’s coupons, it still ended up pretty good deal though if the Pantene is greater than a limit of 1.

I just printed out two of the Rite Aid Pantene coupons. They say “Good online at RITE AID Pharmacies…”. Does that mean that they aren’t good in the stores?

Rite Aid’s “real” name is Rite Aid Pharmacy, just like CVS’ real name is CVS Pharmacy.

I am so jealous that you guys get to shop at Rite Aid. I just get to pick between CVS and Walgreens. If I did have a Rite Aid then I would really shop too much!!!

opps didn’t mean to click sumbit… anyway the 3 P&G rebates listed above can you submit one time for each? They all look the same so I am a little confused.

I posted this comment elsewhere…
There are several Qs for pantene- the $2 from the RA coupon booklet (from a previous SCR; NOT the flu booklet) and it does expire 8/31, a $2/2 from P%G mailer, and Sunday’s coupons! This will go great the $10 wyb 30 MIR as well.

57 Gain? Only you Ann! :) I bet there are only like 5 on the shelf- if they stocked at all! At least that is how my Rite Aid rolls! Nothing is ever in stock unless you are there at opening.
