Okay so I am a little new to the whole Rite Aid thing but love trying to figure it out. Will this scenario work?

Buy 4 Positively Ageless Cleaning Pads at $7.19 = 28.76
Use 5/25
Use 1 IP $10 off purchase of 3 Postively Ageless products
Use 1 IP $2 off Postively Ageless
Use at least 1 Ad Perk $3 off Facial (My store said they would take one for each that would 4 or $12 which would put me in negative?)

So, that would leave me paying at most$8.76 (if I only get to use 1 Ad perk) or $0 if they really take them all.

Plus get the $7 SCR and another $28 added to my total for the Givings

Does this look right? I’m new like I said.

Hi Kerri,

YMMV (your mileage may vary) as to whether or not that will work. The $10 internet printable is the wild card. Rite Aid policy states they will accept printables to $5, so a $10 printable may/may not be accepted (hence, YMMV).

Here’s another idea:

(4) $7.19
= $28.76
- $5/$25 RA printable
= $23.76
- (4) $3 adperks aveeno coupons
= $9.76
- $2 printable
= $7.76
now, if you have the coupons tomorrow morning and only have one paper there is a $1 coupon and a $1.50/2 coupon, if you have three inserts, you would have (3) $1 coupons so
- $3 manufacturer coupons
= $4.76 + Receive $7 SCR
= $3.24 profit

That will work with no problems, so have a back up plan for your $10 internet printable.

If your $10 printable is accepted, here’s what you could do:

$28.76
- $5/$25
= $23.76
- $10 printable
= $13.76
- (4) $3 adperk coupons
= $1.76 + Receive $7 SCR

Skip the $2 printable as it will put you into the negative. You can certainly try to get it to $0, but that too would be a YMMV.

The (4) $3 adperks coupons will scan off, so that should not be a problem. If it is a problem, walk out and head over to the next store. If you store says they do not accept more than one adperks coupon, they want the $5/$25 last, they don’t take printables, anything odd that will mess up your deal, walk away and try another Rite Aid. Then call corporate on the uncooperative store Monday.

I’d give the coupons in this order:

$5/$25 RA coupon
$10 printable

That way, if they tell you “nope” on the $10 coupon you could have a back-up plan ready like I listed above.

Now one thing to remember is these were the prices in my store on Wednesday. They may not be the same in your store, so plan adjustments!

And yes, you’d get $28 towards your gift of savings.

Good luck!

Woohoo! It worked and they took the $10 printable without even blinking!!!!! And I used the $2 also and the manager helped me to find a filler item!!!!! He laughed the whole time and said that was great – and then HE reminded me to use SCRs and the Giving program, so the manager helped to push it to a moneymaker with only .24 cents plus tax out of pocket!!!! Thank you so much – I went prepared like you said and it went super smooth!!!!! Now I’m going to send my sister since she loves this product too!!!!!

YAY!! I am so glad it worked, Kerri.

You do realize if you had not had a back-up it never would have gone smoothly. Another one of “Ann’s laws” (like Murphy, only my name is Ann).

What is the $10 printable coupon?

Hi Jenny,

At one time Aveeno had a $10 positively ageless printable coupon available on their site here. Unfortunately if you have not already printed the coupon you are out of luck since Aveeno is no longer offering it.

Thanks! I am a little confused about the $5/$25 deals. Do you need to do both deals? And, do you use one of the $2 off Aveeno coupons from their website and a Rite Aid $3 off Aveeno ad-perk coupon for each Aveeno facial product you purchase?
This is what I would like to do, if possible:

(1) Nivea Lip Care $2.99
(1) Gillette Fusion Razor $9
(1) Crest White Plus Scope Toothpaste $2.69
(1) Oral-B Advantage or Artica Toothbrushes $2.69
(1) Aveeno Shave Cream $4.99 – 20% off = $3.99
(1) Aveeno Cleanser $7.99 – 20% off = $6.39
(1) Aveeno Daily Scrub $7.99 – 20% off = $6.39

coupons I have:
$5/$20 RA
(3)$3/1 RA Adperks aveeno facial care
(3) $2/1 aveeno coupon from their website
(1) $1/1 aveeno RP (? from newspaper)
(1) $1.50/2 aveeno RP (? from newspaper)
(1) $1/1 nivea
(1) $1/1 oral-b advantage
(1) $1/1 crest
(1) $4/1 gillette fusion razor

do i have too many coupons/need more copies of the online coupons?
THANKS!!!! :-)

Hi Jenny,

From what you have listed you have too many Aveeno manufacturer coupons. They will accept the $2 one per item or the newspaper one per item (along with one adperk coupon per item… think of adperk as store coupons. You can use one store coupon + one manufacturer coupon per item.) So for the Aveeno choose:

(3) aveeno adperk $3 coupons
(3) aveeno $2 printables

or

(3) Aveeno adperk coupons
(1) $2 printable
(1) $1.50/2 newspaper aveeno coupon

or

(3) aveeno adperk coupons
(2) $2 printables
(1) $1 newspaper aveeno coupon

etc. You can only use enough manufacturer coupons for three aveeno. You original list have enough manufacturer coupons only if you were buying 6 aveeno.

Don’t forget to start with a RA $5/$25 coupon!

Thanks Ann! You’re a huge help, I appreciate it! I have $27 in coupons right here (including the $5/$20), plus the SCR. Is there a difference in using the $5/$20 or the $5/$25?

Hi Jenny,

If you were getting $40+ worth or merchandise you could sit down and figure out how to break up your order into two orders and use (2) $5/$20 coupons. Since you are “only” at $34, you may as well use the easy-to-print $5/$25 coupon.
