This week I will be using the $3/$15 printable since it is accessible to all.

Oder #1

(1) Metamucil $9.99
(1) Crest/Oral B $2.74
(1) Pampers Wipes (60-77ct) $2.49
= $15.22
- $3/$15 Printable Coupon
= $12.22
- $4.50 manufacturer coupons
= $7.72
- $6 SCR
= $1.72 + $15.22 credit towards SCR#18

Order #2

(1) Vicks NyQuil/DayQuil $4.99
(1) Oral-B Cross Action Power Toothbrush $5.99
(1) Crest Rinse (400ml or 1L (which is 1000 ml)) $4.99
= $15.97
- $3/$15 Printable Coupon
= $12.97
- $6.50 manufacturer coupons
= $6.47
- $1.50 SCR
= $4.97 + $15.97 credit towards SCR#18

Deal 1 + Deal 2 = $6.69 and you have qualified for a $10 Rite Aid Gift Card.

Note, I have to say if you wanted the align and had a $5/$25 coupon, this would be a good time to substitute it for one of the above deals:

$28.99
- $5/$25 rite aid coupon
- $5 manufacturer coupon
= $18.99
- $10 SCR
=$8.99 (and it would be $28.99 towards SCR#18)

Order #3

John Freida 3/$15
- $3/$15 Printable Coupon
= $12
- (3) $1 John Freida Adperk Coupons
= $9
- (3) $3 manufacturer coupons
= $0.00
- $5 SCR
= $5 Profit!

From here on out, anything you do is going to have overage using the best deals. For instance since all the CoverGirl face make-up is free at the register, if you are using a $3/$15 coupon you will need to find $3 in filler. Basically three free dollars worth of merchandise! Tough problem to have. ;-)

Now if you wanted to do the above using a $5/$25 coupon, it would work like this:

(2) Cover Girl Cosmetics B1G1 (2/$7.99)
(1) Metamucil $9.99
(1) Crest/Oral B $2.74
(1) Vicks NyQuil/DayQuil $4.99
= $25.71
- $5/$25 rite aid coupon from myriteaid.com
= $20.71
- $13.79 manufacturer coupons
= $6.92
- $8 SCR
= $1.08 profit + $17.72 credit towards SCR #18

(3) John Freida 3/$15
(1) Pampers Wipes (60-77ct) $2.49
(1) Oral-B Cross Action Power Toothbrush $5.99
(1) Crest Rinse (400ml or 1L (which is 1000 ml)) $4.99
= $28.47
- $5/$25 rite aid coupon from myriteaid.com
= $23.47
- (3) $1 adperk coupons
= $20.47
- $15.50 manufacturer coupons
= $4.97
- $5 SCR
= 3¢ profit! + Receive $13.47 SCR #18 credit

Total this way is $1.11 profit + Receive $10 Rite Aid Gift Card

Looks like it might be a good week to sign up for myriteaid.com. Instructions at the top of the page

i’m mad i could have gotten free gum. when i got the 75 cent coupon, i set them by the little basket by the front door. what did my hubs do, he took that as, ok i can go use these, yeah he didn’t tell me he was taking them because i was going to tell him only to use it if they are 1 or less, but over a dollar is not worth it. yeah he bought them at $1.39 yeah i was mad about that. but never again will i hand him coupons without thorough instructions!

Ann, is the covergirl B1G1 a ymmv? I tried it before and they wouldn’t take it, is it in their policy? Thanks!

I’m a little dizzy, so can we get this straight.

This week we are doing P&G deal #18 for a $10 gift card.

Many of us already did #552 with all the vitamins and we are waiting for our $25 gift card to arrive.

Will we be working on #24 J&J, $25 rebate later in the month?

    Thanks!

SAHMinCambridge it IS the Rite Aid corporate policy. If they do not accept the coupon with a B1G1, call corporate to call the store.

    Hi Wendy,

This week I have #18 plotted out several different ways (the mess above).

I have not gotten to #24 yet. I know that next week (the 14th – 20th) it isn’t compelling, but I will look again to be certain

There is a copy of the Rite Aid coupon policy. I would suggest printing it and taking it to the store with you. They can’t refuse your coupons then!

Ann, I have a question about this, you wrote:
    Glide Floss 2/$7 – $1 manufacturer coupon (from the 2/21/10 P&G insert) = $2.50
    How does this math work?

  9. admin
    March 8, 2010 | 9:09 am

    $3.50 – $1 = $2.50

What zipcode has the $3 manufacturer coupons for John Freida? I don’t see it in the SS for 3/7.

    Hi Amy,

Definitely a regional coupon with no rhyme or reason to where it was distributed.

Thanks Ann for the prompt reply, but I don’t see it in the insert for CT that I have, so was wondering if I can find it online somewhere.

    Hi Amy,

I just checked Coupons.com , Smart Source (where it was most likely to be) and Red Plum … nuthin’.

Not sure where you are in CT but if the stores are still selling NYC or Boston papers, leaf through some of those to see if the coupons were in the SS insert. Might be worth purchasing if they were.
