Thank you, Ann!
I don’t know if it is just me, but I just barely finished giving away all the FAR cold and flu stuff from past few months and I am not excited to get any more. I don’t like Colgate toothpaste and my store is out of Pot O Gold from last week. Blah. Maybe some hidden deal will surface this next week? What happened to the good ole Rite Aid days???

I have a bunch of Oatmeal coupons and a lot of the nuts coupons. IF I go to Rite Aid it will be to get those baking goods (how odd is that?) and hope for the Hershey’s Pot O Gold.

I completely agree Tatiana, I miss the SCR. I liked it them lot. I don’t mind the +ups, but I can do the same thing at CVS. The SCR is what made Rite Aid so much better than CVS or Walgreens IMO.

Is the Pot O Gold any good? Have you tried it? I bought one box last week, but instead of opening it I went and bought Trader Joes box of chocolates and opened that box instead. Shrug. I have so much free candy yet when I see somoething at Trader Joes I buy it anyway.

Don’t forget about the “Real Simple Rewards” Season of Savings rebate: purchase $15 and get a $5 rebate.
One of the items is the Pot O Gold.
I purchased a few boxes last week, after completing a taste test last night, I am not impressed in the least. If I had my eyes closed I don’t think I would guess that it was even chocolate. To bad because I do love Hershey’s w/almonds bar.

Thanks Robin, I added it!

Ann, I think the $5 up from #2, #3, #4 + #5 is supposed to be a $3 up.

And I thought I was so careful! Thanks Ida.

I believe I saw a new VV for Buffrin last night… unless my eyes are playing tricks on me again :)

Reply

NYAmber December 3, 2010 at 3:49 pm

blah, apparently they are. there is not a vv for Buffrin… must have gotten it confused with the Thermacare I watched ;)

I think there was in November Amber. Maybe I imagined it though.

Darn where was the Little Remedies sale when I actually needed it two weeks ago. Spent $5.14 at CVS on the infant saline drops. I will have enough POG cpns but I’m going to skip it. I heard they don’t taste very good.

I can’t find multiple 5/25 coupons anywhere. Where can they be found? Thank you.

Lisa December 3, 2010 at 11:49 pm

Totally unmotivated by advertised sales this week. A first for me. I have +ups to burn so I will turn them into cash with this deal.
$23.99 my grid + power sleeve (20% off price)
3.58 (3) John Frieda Travel Size
=27.57
- 5.00 5/25
=22.57 + tax
pay with +ups so oop will be .07+tax

get back $25 SCR#37 + $5 SCR#58, so spend 22.50 +ups get back $30SCR

Totally disappointed about picture frames. Oh well, win some, lose some!

My first Sunday sleep in since I don’t know when.

Hello….I am brand new here. A fellow customer at Walgreen’s shared a coupon from this site with me, and I am hooked. I have yet to understand many of the abbreviations used here…OOP, SS, etc.. Could someone advise me how to learn these, or if there is a reference on site.
Thank you.

Ann…I was wondering about the RA pistachios on sale, $1+UP and $5+UP when you spend $15. If I buy 4 will I get 4 $1+UP plus the $5+UP?

Any coupons in the flu book does anyone know? Suppose I could get up off my big butt and head upstairs to look. (O:

I bet you do Jennifer..
In past deals where there was a UP+ on an item and a total amount UP+ you got both… I made some awesome UP+ accumulations with these sorts of deals.

Jennifer December 4, 2010 at 11:21 pm

Thanks Kim…I am going to give it a try tomorrow. It might be a nice way to stock up for the holidays! Now hoping they taste good. (O:

Yes, you should get UPs for the individual items as well as the total purchase deal. I did a similar deal today with the Rite Aid nuts. There is a $1 UP on each one, plus a $5 up if you buy $15. I got four $1 UPs and one $5 UP.

Dia December 5, 2010 at 1:35 am

I bought 4 Garnier dyes, 2 Garnier shampoos and a drink and spent .14 cents OOP and got back $10+UPR back:-)

My girlfriend just told me about this deal that I am going to do…I don’t have the exact numbers but…

(4)Revlon nails
(2) Tide detergent

there is a $3 off coupon on google docs for the nailpolish, which is also B1G50%.

And there are $4+UP on 2 Revlon products, plus +UPS on the detergent, plus it looks like $1+UPs on any nailpolish.

Looks like a good deal in the maiking. Any Tide coupons out there?

admin December 6, 2010 at 11:54 am

Here’s the Revlon coupon straight from Rite Aid

There was a $1 Tide coupon in the 11/28/10 P&G insert.

I did two deals today as follows:

4 Rite Aid Cashews 3.88 each

Total before coupons: $15.52

Coupons:
$3/15 RA SCR e-mail coupon

Paid $12.52
Received $9 UPs for my next order
That is less than 88 cents for each container after UPs

Order #2:
2 Sunmaid Raisins 2/$4
4 Craisins 2/$4
2 Halls sugar free cough drops

Total before coupons: $15
Used another $3/$15 RA SCR coupon (this one was my sisters, but she gave it to me)
Used $1/2 Sunmaid coupon
Used 2 “free” Halls coupons from the Pop a Drop game
Used $8 in UPs from first order

$0 OOP
Received $4 in UPs for a future order

Today was awesome!!!!
Bought 3 Intuitions, paid $1.56 OOP and got back $6 +UPs. Then I bought KY Your&Mine and 2 Tide Free&Clear and spent $2.63 OOP and received $4+UPs. Then I bought another KY, 2 colgate toothpastes, and 2 Revlon polishes for .92 cents and got back $6+UPs! Whew! I’m beat.

Jennifer December 9, 2010 at 8:53 pm

So the RA here have some Revlon products that are 75% off on clearance. I bought blush for $1.19 and eye shadow for $2.44 and still received $4+UPs for purchasing 2 Revlon products.

Does anyone know if there are any REvlon coupons out there? This could be a good money maker.
