Hi Ann…I see the deal for the lansing device and the gel. This is not something I need, but I would certainly welcome the UP rewards! LOL

Is there some place that these could be donated to so they aren’t wasted?

I would think a shelter, senior citizen center or a nursing home would be glad to take them.

Or if your city has a free clinic (clinic for people without insurance). My mother works in one and that is one of the most common things they hand out.

I think I need to be on vacation from RA this week..

Too bad I’ve already gotten my $5 Diabetes +UP from this weeks Bayer deals. Oh Well, another $5+UP for the Neuragen would still be nice.

Reply

TB October 29, 2010 at 1:57 pm

I am afraid that would be the case here as well. :)

Suzanne October 29, 2010 at 3:35 pm

I might get some Combos (I’m addicted now that I’m pregnant), but I don’t think I will bother with anything else this week unless I see something I need in the ad.

Reply

wendy d October 29, 2010 at 3:43 pm

Since next week isn’t very exciting and I have $60 in UP’s, I’ll be going tomorrow to do some deals on the bounty paper towels at $6.99, get $1 UP.(PG 9/26 $1). I will be filling in the order with Quaker Oatmeal, Pistachios, and Haagen Daz. I found a pistachio $1 coupon at Tops.
I can use the Pistachios for a NBPR rebate on salty snacks.

Will get papers at RA on Sunday. I think the neurogen will be hard to find, but the proceeds from the deal would make some nice free papers. This is a week to get multiple papers.

Reply

Jennifer October 29, 2010 at 6:08 pm

I was wondering about getting multiples…nothing I neccessarily want in the paper for this upcoming week, and have only bought multiples a couple times.

How many multiples would be reasonable for up and coming sales???

Reply

wendy d October 29, 2010 at 6:34 pm

Hi Jennifer,

I know when you look at the coupons they may not seem exciting, but they can often end up as money makers.

In the past the diabetic meters were free at Wags and then you got an RR back.

The BOGO coupons when paired with a BOGO sale equal FREE.

Gain dish liquid can be gotten free with $1 coupon.

Vick’s $4 coupon has been a money maker in the past.

P&G coupons now state that you cannot use more than 4 at a time.

Say at RA that you used BOGO coupons to get a bunch of free deodorant that you don’t want valued at $20. If you used a $5/25 with the order you would
have $5 to spend on something you needed like toilet paper.

If Ann get real excited about the coupons, it means she knows something we don’t! LOL

Come up with a plan to get about 4 inserts. Sometimes you can get a deal on the home delivery rate.

Jennifer November 6, 2010 at 7:41 pm

Wendy…I totally am using your advice to make the deals work for me. In the beginning I did the deals Ann wrote up exactly the way she wrote them up. But now I am getting creative, learning the ropes a bit, and working some of my own deals! LOL

I just bought 11 lansing devices and 10 Tide detergent for under $6!

(I am officially a coupon junkie…my sister gave me two more sets of lasts weeks inserts about an hour ago so I went BACK out to RA to get two more Tide for under $1.) hee hee

dia October 29, 2010 at 4:00 pm

deal #1 confuses me a little. I thought the Neuragen is $24.99, why does it say it’s $19.99? Also where are you getting the other $5+UP? I know you get one for spending $30 but…yeah I’m lost:-(

That is because I was once again doing this at 1am and I screwed up! Thanks for pointing it out Dia. I fixed it.

Does anyone know how much Febreze candles typically sell for at RA? I have never purchased one.

Can I do the following, provided the candles aren’t too expensive…

(1) Febreze candle
(1) Febreze set and refresh

And use $2 off the candle (10/31)
and the Buy one candle get the set and refresh free? And earn $1 Up?

admin October 30, 2010 at 10:33 pm

Jennifer all they had online was a 6oz size which were $10.99, so that is of no help to you.

Jennifer October 30, 2010 at 9:35 pm

OK…and my other potential purchase that I am trying to see if it is a go is the Tide Detergent for $5.88. I have a $3 off coupon that reads “on any one Tide stain release 26-50 ou powder, 15-34 count duo pac or 36-68 oz liquid.”

I can’t really tell if that coupon works for what is advertised in the RA ad.

If it is, then it would be $5.88 – 3MC for $2.88 plus $1UP. Still learning good prices, not sure if that qualifies or not but we are in need of detergent so I may just get it.

Any good price points for detergent???

Reply

robin r October 30, 2010 at 10:08 pm

Jennifer,
Unfortunately the MC you are speaking of is for Stain Release not Detergent. Most of the time the best coupon you can get for Tide Detergent is $1.00 off.

Jennifer October 31, 2010 at 4:18 pm

OK…wasn’t planning on stopping at RA today b/c I knew the stuff I was getting would be around. But I found myself there anyway.

I made two purchases and ended up with the following:

(4) Frosted Miniwheats
(2) Nutrigrain bars
(4) Chex Mix
(2) Combos
(2) Hershey Bars
(4) Folgers (12 ou)
(1) St Ives Lotion
(2) Suave(not my fave but put me over $25)
(1) RA Q tips (needed them!)
(2) Pecan Sandies keebler cookies

My OOP total was $6.10 and I have $5 in Up rewards for my next visit.

Needless to say, my husband and kids were thrilled with this trip! LOL

Can you print and use more than 1 copy of the adperk coupons?

Reply

admin October 31, 2010 at 4:39 pm

Hi Debbie,

In most cases they need to be under a second account and watched a second time in order to get another coupon that is serialized that will work. You generally cannot print two copies of the same adperk from one account to have it work.

Sating that, Ida put together a list of non serialized adperk coupons that you can set your printer to print 2 of, and they will work. This is only for non-serialized adperk coupons.

Hi again! Just wondering if there’s any good L’oreal make up deals? I know they have the Cover Girl B1G1 free, I have a $5/2 Cover Girl coupon and I have the $3 L’oreal lipstick and $6 L’oreal lash boosting flu book coupons. Is there any good deals I can do with these? Thanks!

Reply

admin October 31, 2010 at 10:20 pm

Purchase $15 worth of L’Oreal Products (B1G150% off), Receive $5 RR

This is running this week and next week.

I looked up the price of the lipstick when I was in the store this morning since I do plan on doing the deal:

$8.95 for the base

$9.99 for plumping and colore rich

$11.99 for infallible

There is a current manufacturer coupon for the lash booster, but not the lipstick, so I am waiting until Sunday to see what the RP brings.

Ann

Reply

TB November 1, 2010 at 10:03 am

Ann, could you please elaborate more on the lipstick deal? That sounds interesting. Is this the next week that you plan on doing it? I think there is a coupon in flu coupon book for loreal as well.
Thank you!

Reply

admin November 1, 2010 at 10:18 am

It is the same offer this week Tatiana, but there isn’t a L’Oreal lipstick newspaper coupon out right now, so I will wait and see if one is coming out this Sunday.

Assuming I can get a $1 coupon this Sunday it would look like this:

(2) $8.95
(2) $8.95/2 (the 50% off)
= $26.85
- $5/$25
= $21.85
- (4) $3 flu coupons
= $9.95 + (2) $5 +Up reward

Now my hope is for at least a $1 coupon on Sunday bringing cost down to $5.95 + … maybe they’ll actually release another $1/10 beauty or cosmetic coupon.

All those reasons are why I am waiting one more week.

Ann

Reply

TB November 1, 2010 at 10:20 am

I see. Thank you. I will be waiting then too. :)

Reply

TB November 1, 2010 at 10:23 am

But wait, in order to get two $5 +Up the total has to be at least $30? So YOu will have to add two more to your order then? Or how are you counting?

Reply

admin November 1, 2010 at 10:42 am

You are right… see why I am waiting!? I have not figured it out yet. :-P

(2) infallible $11.99, $6
(2) base $8.95, $4.48
= $31.42
- $5/$25
= $26.42
- (4) $3 flu booklet
= $14.42 + (2) $5 +Up

so still waiting for more coupons.

Ann

Suzanne November 1, 2010 at 3:40 pm

Children’s Advil $7.79 regular price
$2/1 in-ad coupon
$1/1 mfg coupon
$1/1 adperk

$3.79
plus recieve $1 UP+ for your next order

Since the $2 discount is from a coupon, you should be able to get your discount too (if you have one – I have 20%)

Reply

Dia November 1, 2010 at 4:11 pm

Hi Ann! Just wondering, if I use my friend’s card since she gets 20% off, can I still use my VV coupons? I really want to do the first deal. I think it would come out to pretty much free right?

Good evening Ann! Just curious, if I were to buy 2 of the L’Oreal Lash boosting Power systems at $24.99 and they have the B1G1 50% off and then use my 20% off, how would that translate? Would it be one is $20 and the other would come out to $6??? I’m horrible at math:-(

Reply

admin November 3, 2010 at 8:22 am

$24.99
$12.50
= $37.49
- $5/$25 coupon
= $32.49
- (2) $6 flu booklet coupons
= $20.49
- (2) $3 manufacturer coupons
= $14.49 + Receive (2) $5 +Up rewards

You will not receive 20% off because the sale price is greater than that already. (If you get 20% off on the first, take it and run! But it should be programmed as attached to the second on combined sale price of 25% off – there is actually a sale in 2 weeks where L’Oreal cosmetics are 30% off)

Yesterday, I have to run to 3 ra store to do $30.00 diabetes and +up doesn’t print if you do not spent $30.00 in one transaction. I have to run 3 b’cause each store didn’t have all item I need. Last store,I ask the cashier and want to talk to mgr, she said I have to go back tomorrow to talk to the other mgr b’cause these mgr wouldn’t know about these +up, but I didn’t go back yet. I might have to call corp instead of going back to that store. Hardly to find soyjoy in southern california. One of the store I went have a lot of soyjoy, I was so happy, but it was 98% expire. Can you believe it? I asked the cashier if they have anymore, they said that all they have. I show it to her it was expired. She said sorry and pull out all soyjoy from the shelf.
Lately, when they have item on sale, they would not have item in stock, which is ridiculous that I have to ask for raincheck and buy next time, even though in the ad didn’t state the limit, but some cashier would be limit you.
Is anyone try to get 2nd +up $5 in diabetes. Is it work ?
Thanks

Oh my! Great morning at Rite Aid!!! I decided to work with that One Touch COupon…I had (9) of them and (8) $1/1 Tide Coupons…so basically I purchased

(9) One Touch Delica
(8) Tide
(1) Zone Bar pack
Several 50 cent Halloween candy fillers doing double duty…getting my numbers right AND keeping DD’s happy while I run into 4 different RAs! LOL

OOP…$4.10 (because of Tax!) and (8) $1 Tide Up Rewards.

Now to find a nursing home that needs some of those One Touches.

I am still amazed that I have 8 tides for $4!
