Wines To Pair With Turkey

by admin on November 17, 2011

Thanksgiving wines

If you are wondering what wine to serve next Thursday, here are a few nice wines I’ve reviewed this past year that would work quite well with poultry for Thanksgiving:

Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling

Columbia Gewurztraminer

Glenora Riesling

Standing Stone Gewurztraminer

And for an after dinner liquor:

Baileys is a great choice. Also, the ever popular Baileys & Kahlua Iced Coffee Shake or Trader Vics Roasted Chestnut Liqueur

What wine will you be serving during Thanksgiving dinner? Any and all suggestions are welcome!

As always, drink responsibly and please don’t drink and drive.

I like a pouily fuisse with turkey dinner. I haven’t seen it anywhere for under $10, but you can get it for $15-$20 at many markets.

And for after dinner, I like the Bailey’s too, but I also love Kahlua on the rocks or maybe with a little cream (think that is called a white russian). ahhh……..can’t wait for turkey day!!
