There were TONS more toys on clearance that WERE NOT MARKED at my Kmart!! There are price check machines in the store… double check the toys! You might get lucky! I sure did!!

All I have to say is WOW – what a price difference in my stores (of course NYC what do I even expect).
Fisher Price Little Superstar Singing Band Walker was $20.49. Blah… and I still bought it for DD. Vs $11… wow. I only wish. It was double the price basically and it was on sale.
I’m thinking about getting the FP Sing-along Stage which was $21.49.
I couldnt’ find the go baby go one – I really wanted it. The LF Shapes with Ella etc were $13.79 on clearance.
The Elmo Police Station was $10.49 and the Elmo Farm wasn’t even clearanced. I wish I lived where you all live.
Liz ever think about renting a car for the day and heading to Jersey or LI? Would it be worth it? You could combine it with triples at A&P or wherever. As you go further south in Jersey you could even hit a Wegmans, a MUCH better Pathmark and ShopRite… they are like real grocery stores. Not to mention the better Kmarts and Targets.

Ann – good tips! Actually, I’m not sure where the Kmart in LI is – will have to look it up. We rarely head to NJ because there are just too many tolls – the bridge/tunnel is a good $6-8 or something. But sometimes we go if we plan on outlet shopping. It’s not worth it for just stockpiling or grocery. We will go to LI though. We have a Waldbaums here, while the shelf prices are higher than A&P, it’s still better than nothing. Van Wyck was completely backed up and stuck and I turned around after 20 minutes so no triples yet for me. I’ll try again later this week.
Oh – I stopped by another Kmart and it was mostly cleaned out already of the toys. They had a big section in the front with them and huge 50% off signs so I figured it had been picked through. No Fisher Price toys at all left. So I’m kinda grateful for the higher priced store – at least I can still get something.
They had one Elmo Farm left for $6.50 at this other store – and it was unmarked, so probably why it was still there. I saw the Vtech Learn N Spin top but it was still $14 so I passed – great looking toy though.
I only looked at toys for 3 and younger:

Thanks Ann and everyone else for the list. I actually printed it out and took it to the store with me. Very helpful indeed!! And thank goodness for those price scanners. My first time shopping clearances like this. Ann – they should pay you LOL – I spent $100+ at Kmart – I never shopped there much before this – just the one time they had super doubles in my area this year. I had more fun there than CVS – that’s for sure =)
I will have to set my sights on the Target baby & toy clearance next. I have never been able to get in on any of those sales before.

I know this is a bit late, but I was looking to see the deals people got and I have an addition that I didn’t see and thought was pretty good. I got the Elmo Live doll (the one people paid $60 for last X-mas) for $15. I only bought one but wish I would have picked up the other two there. I went to three other K-Marts after that and didn’t see them again.
