How does the earning toward Reward Certificates work?
Each time that you make a qualifying purchase at a participating Kmart store, you will earn at least 1% in rewards. Cosmetics, skin and sun care will earn 10% and certain purchases will earn even more. Approximately three weeks after the end of each calendar quarter, Reward Certificates will be automatically printed at the register when you use your Kmart Smart Rewards card while making a purchase at a participating store, if you have earned at least $3.00 in rewards. When you haven’t accumulated enough rewards to receive at least a $3.00 Reward Certificate, your rewards will roll into the next quarter. See Terms and Conditions for complete details.
There is no annual membership fee for the Rewards Program
Until you receive your card in the mail, you can earn rewards by providing your member number listed below or your phone number during checkout in a participating store. If you did not provide your phone number during enrollment, please add it to your profile by clicking on Update My Information below. On kmart.com, you can also earn rewards by entering your member number during online checkout. Please print this page for your records.

Kmart just did away with the rewards in money…they are now using points….Noone at kmart knew exactly how it differed than getting money back…..can anyone explain why they did away with the rewards in money?
I tried to join on your web site for my membership to the rewards program and there is a problem with it ” There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.

i had the same problem. i called the 1-800-991-8708. they were able to help me better than online.
I, also, could not join online due to a problem with the website’s security certificate. My wife and I have recently had problems with identity theft and don’t need to tempt fate on this issue. I didn’t try to bypass this screen and don’t think anyone should.
I had the same problem. I got tired of trying, every time I ask a cashier how many rewards I have on my card they never know or doesn’t know how to do it. kanawha city, WVa
wow!!! i work at kmart and if they dont know how to show you your points then they need to be fired!!! my KMart rocks~!! we could answer any question! come on down lol
got a reward card from sears yesterday. bought a washer and dryer so should get lots of points. could not sign up. can i go to a sears store and get it taken care of
Lost my card, cashiers say they can’t pull my name up w/phone no. I think they don’t want to take the time
if u give them your e-mail address they can pull it up by your e-mail they did it for me

I have been shopping at Kmart for quite a while now but I need some help with my rewards points. On my receipt of 9-18-2011 it shows that I have 29,033 points. I go to sign in and it shows that I have an accout with you on-line with my e-mail and password but nothing else. Would you please explain to my what I need to do. There is an account opened today and that needs to be deleted.
