CVS Deals

MC saw this on the finish facebook wall concerning the $2.15 coupon:

Good Afternoon everyone, this is Sam from FINISH Consumer Relations. Please let me start of my apologizing for any confusion there may have been with the recent coupon in Sunday’s paper. For clarification, the $2.15 coupon can be used towards any Finish® Quantum 25 count or higher. It can also be used on ANY size Powerball® Tabs or Gelpacs®. There was a separate $1.00 coupon that can be used on Finish® Quantum 10 or 12 count. Thanks, and again, sorry for any confusion. Hopefully everyone will have the opportunity to try the product and have GREAT RESULTS!

So add it to the pile!!

Thanks MC!

: ) Sweet, I figured as much w/ all the chatter on other sites. Ann, what time does our store turn over on Sat?

Will the cvs cash card prompt early? If so, it depends on the manager. There is one that will NOT turn on before 5 minutes before close, and another that will turn on at 8pm. When I see a lot of stuff behind the counter Sunday morning, I can always tell which manager worked the night before.

I’m late to the party as this is the first I’m reading about this…
But, I’m reading this post and looking at my coupon. I understand what he is saying and why he is saying it…..however, how will our stores follow what Finish is telling us????? I’m not hopeful :(

You are not late, Donna, they didn’t post on facebook until after 5pm yesterday. If you did anything off-line on a Friday night, it was super easy to miss a facebook update on a page you may not follow. And, I agree – just because finish posts a clarification on their facebook page does not mean that stores will not give problems UNLESS it is coded to come off any finish product. Then, you should be fine.

Fingers crossed for ‘correct’ coding :) :) :)

So … the deal looks like this:
9 boxes at 3.50 = 31.50
-9 coupons at 2.15 = 19.35
= 12.15 oop, get 10.00 cash card
limit 5

I am doubtful my store will have that many in stock. If not, I will get a raincheck.

There aren’t any rainchecks for the cash card, Lea Ann. The finish would be ok, and you just staple the coupon to it and our store will take them expired (with the raincheck only).

I just happened to notice the evil fine print. “No more than 2 coupons for the same product can be used in the same transaction”.

So it will take a little longer, that’s all.

Hope this is coded correctly and there’s no problem at the stores!!

I’m so happy to read this. I noticed the Finish tabs I have on hand are 20 ct. and wondered if there would be a deal for the larger boxes. It’s great to know these will work on any tabs!

There is one CVS store in our area that will give a raincheck for the gift card deals even though in the ad it says they aren’t supposed to. I think it is because they such terrible inventory all of the timeand never have anything in stock.
