The bottom of my last Tops receipt 12/28 says earn Gas points through 12/31/11 redeem now through 1/14/12. Isn’t it weird that they have a gas promotion on a non earning week? hmm any ideas?

They are extending the bonus gas points another 2 weeks of earning thru 1/14/12 and redeem thru 1/28/12. It was on the doors this morning when I went to Tops, and it’s on the top of the flyer for next week’s sale. I thought I was seeing thing cause it states otherwise on the receipt
