Thanks for the heads up on this-it’s greatly appreciated.
Glad to discover my supply are not in the listed lots-and @ the same time not surprised to discover that mine had ALREADY EXPIRED. ~sigh.

I hope they engrave that on my headstone:
“Still useful long past expiration date”.

I went through my H&BA closet in mid-December for donation goods. I am ashamed to say how many OTC meds were expired. I need to reassess how I “buy” them so that I never have more than two of the same product on-hand at any time.

Thanks to a Riteaid sale (back in the good ol days) I have 3 boxes that are being recalled. Thank you for posting this. I would have missed out.

I can’t get through either! Looks like the excedrine excludes the 2, 6, and 10 count? No doze excludes 2 or 4 count. I’m thinking these are the little bottles we got for free?

The recall doesn’t go by lot # it goes by expiration date Bufferin and gas x with a expiration date of December 20th,2013 or EARLIER

Excedrin and nodoz with a expiration date December 20, 2014 or EARLIER

I just got off the phone with them, open bottles you call and give the lot # product type and count and they send you fair market value (?) He couldn’t tell me what fmv was. For the unopened you mail in the upc with the form (take pics) and they send you fmv.

Yeah-I wonder what the FMV is for an EXPIRED product.

P.S. I looked inside the bottle and there are no ‘stray’ capsules in mine. Anyone find anything odd in theirs?

It’s funny, I got a totally different response. Send it all in- opened and sealed w/ 1 form per bottle. I sent 16 bottles back and it was $6.29 in shipping, which will be refunded.

I have been reading that they are telling people different things. Ahh, I talked to them on the first day and as the day progressed different stories were coming back. IDK They also told me that they would only allow $2 maximum for the shipping. I still have mine I might just try to return to RA.

I understood it to be 2.00 max per bottle for shipping. I had so many because of stocking up and I buy for my Dad. I took his so he did not have to bother. It was fun filling out 16 forms…hahaha. I copied the info and then filled in the individual info. It will be interesting to see what the “FMV” is. They reassured me I will get all my shipping costs.

Thanks for the info. Maybe tonight I can sit down and go through my medicine storage containers to see if I have any of the recalled product.

Just went through mine & have a couple of unopened products that fall within recall guidelines. Thanks for posting Ann.

I wish part of the recall were cough drops. I ran out last year during cold season and must have thought that “a couple are good, 50 must be great!” Ok, maybe I am exaggerating, but man, what was I thinking? I have a lot of cough drops! O yeah, that falls under “Check your stockpile before purchasing.”

I bought LOADS of this at rite aid last year but donated most of it. I hope it was OK! I will check to see if I have any more.

I got a call on my cell phone from Kroger. It was automated. They said their records showed that I purchase the recalled products and to bring them in for a refund. Anyone else get this call?
