I was completely uninspired this morning. All I can say is the alarm clock was lucky hubby reached over turn it off instead of me.
My first stop was CVS to use up my expiring ECB:
(2) Newspapers $2
= $4
- $4 ECB
= $0
My second stop was Walgreens where I tried to roll for newspapers, but since nothing was marked on the shelf (for the scünci) that did not happen. Instead, I used a raincheck:
(6) Popcorn, Indiana $3.99
= $23.94
- $2 rain check credit each item
= $11.94
- (6) $1 manufacturer coupons
= $5.94
And finally I stopped at Target to redeem a free bread coupon. Our local Target was recently remodeled and we have been receiving free coupons every other week. The one for this two week period was free bread. And, they were completely out. They did offer to take $1.29 off of any other bread, but I just gave the coupon to the cashier so she could redeem it when the truck arrived.
So, all-on-all it was as lousy a shopping day for me as I expected.
Total Merchandise Value: $27.94
Total OOP: $5.94
So, how did your Sunday Morning Shopping go? Were you out bright and early? Sleep in? Find a deal we should all run out for?

MC sent the following deal:
Target has:
Pantene gift set is $9.99
Olay gift set is $16.99
If you purchase one, there is an offer inside for a free Allure magazine. If you decide you do not want the magazine, you can choose a $12 rebate instead.
Pantene $9.99
- $12 rebate
= $2.01 profit!
Olay $16.99
- $12 rebate
= $4.99
Note: you could probably use the $2 coupon from the 9/25/11 RP on the olay, but it expires 10/31/11, so it will have to be soon.
Thanks MC!

Today was easy for me. I stopped at CVS to get the kiosk coupons.
After that, it was off to Target. Our Target had been remodeled and we now have produce, meat, and aisles and aisles of dairy frozen. So, in the mail yesterday we received a free egg coupon – so I stopped to get them.
Order
$1.14
- $1.14 free coupon
= $0.00
And after that, I went over to Rite Aid.
Order #1
(1) Burt’s Bees Throat Drops $1.49
(1) Blistex $1.49
(1) Chloraseptic $3.99
(1) Cepacol $2.50
(1) Rite Aid Regular Hand Sanitizer $1
= $10.47
- $10 ECB from a prior week
= 47¢ and received (2) $1.49 +ups, (1) $3 +ups, (1) $2.50 +ups and (1) $1 +ups
Order #2
(1) newspaper $2
- 20%card discount
= $1.60
- $1.49 +ups from deal #1
= 11¢
I got a bunch of free papers Friday, so did not care about getting more Smart Source inserts. Our Red Plum was rather lame, so I bought one paper to round up to four after my friends & family collection.
Total merchandise: $13.61
Total OOP: 68¢
and I have $6.99 in +ups left for next week’s great Rite Aid ad!
