Rite Aid Deals 5/6 – 5/12/12

Rite Aid Deals

These are what I consider to be the best Rite Aid deals for the week beginning 5/6/12. This week I left a lot of deals behind on the click main Rite Aid page. They are good deal, but not front page worthy – more “if I need it, it is a decent price” type deals.

All printable were working when I wrote this up. Printable disappear all the time, so print them while you can.

Update on the 4/29/12 Rite Aid +Ups Goof

by admin on April 30, 2012

Rite Aid Deals

Jane sent the following:

Rite Aid CS said the 5/5 exp date on the UPs was a mistake (again, again, again), and it will automatically be extended another week. Supposedly the stores know this.

You may want to call (1-800-748-3243) or contact Rite Aid to confirm:

Also, the glitch has been fixed and as of today the weekly +ups are printing with a 5/20/12 expiration date.

Sunday Morning Shopping

by admin on April 29, 2012

shopping haul

I had no desire to shop this morning. At all. None. I yawned at the thought of super doublers, and actually put the Colgate toothbrushes back on the shelf at Rite Aid because I didn’t want to deal with rolling.

Blech. Bad mood Sunday.

This is what I ended up doing:

First stop was CVS just to get the CVS Kiosk coupons.

CVS Deal

(2) Colgate MaxClean $2.99
(1) Newspaper $2
= $7.98
- (1) $1/2 colgate coupon
- (1) $1 off any toothpaste CVS Kiosk coupon
= $5.98
- $5 ECB from a prior week
= 98¢ and received (1) $5 ECB

After that it was on to Walgreens

Walgreens Deal #1

(5) Newspapers $2
(1) Depends Sillouette $4.49 (bonus buy)
= $14.49
- $1 depends coupon
= $13.49
- $13 RR from a prior week
= 49¢ and received (1) $3.50 +ups (from the depends)

Walgreens Deal #2

(2) Newspapers $2
= $4
- $3.50 RR from deal $1
= 50¢

At Rite Aid I decided on just candy:

Rite Aid Deal #1

(6) Mike & Ike 2/$2
= $6
- $5 +ups from a prior week
= $1 and received (3) $2 +ups

Rite Aid Deal #2

(2) Mike & Ike 2/$2
= $2
- $2 +ups from deal #1
= $0 and received $2 +ups

My Tops order was kinda blah. The only thing I needed to stock up on right ow was dish liquid, andI had a fistful of the $1 Palmolive coupons from today’s inserts – and Tops didn’t have that type. And even if they had, it would have been $3.29, so $1.29 after doublers. The Quaker cups were $1.99, 99¢ after double coupon. Ummm I will wait for a sale on those.

Tops Deal

(8) Palmolive $1.29
(2) Old El Paso Shells $1
(2) Sierra Mist $1.67
= $15.66
- (4) $1 doublers
= $11.66
- (4) $1/2 palmolive coupons
= $7.66
- (2) 50¢ old el paso coupons doubled
= $5.66
- (2) 55¢ sierra mist coupons doubled
= $3.46

Total Merchandise: $50.13
Total OOP: $6.43

and I have $4.98 ECB and $6 +ups to use at another time.

So, how did your Sunday Morning Shopping go? Were you out bright and early? Sleep in? Find a deal we should all run out for?

Details folks, we want details!

Sunday “Must Do” Deals

by admin on April 28, 2012

what to buy

I haven’t said this in a looooooong time, but … Rite Aid – when it opens. Be there.

I want newspapers, so I will head over to Walgreens and use my leftover RR to get them.

CVS is pretty lame this week.

And of course I will be driving to Tops to do a little super-doubler damage!

I made up a new Wegmans deal list this week. I was underwhelmed.

A&P and Pathmark have a few good deals if you are in the area.

Looks like Rite Aid and Tops for me tomorrow with a quick stop at Walgreens for newspapers.

How about you? What are your Sunday “Must Do” Deals?

Sunday Morning Shopping

by admin on April 22, 2012

shopping haul

First stop this morning was at CVS where I received a $5 ECB beauty reward at the kiosk that expired sooner than what I had from a prior purchase, so I used that:

CVS Order

(1) Blink Tears $8.99
= $8.99
- $1 manufacturer coupon
= $7.99
- $5 ECB
= $2.99 and I received (1) $8.99 ECB

Then it was on to Walgreens simply to roll the RR I had from last week:

Walgreens Order

(1) I Cool+D Menopause Relief Tablets $10
(1) U by Kotex Sleek Tampons $3.99
(1) Easter candy 12¢
(2) Nestle Grand Bars 2/$1
= $15.11
- (1) $9 RR from prior week
- (1) $3 RR from prior week
- (1) $2 i cool manufacturer coupon
- (1) $1 kotex manufacturer coupon
= 11¢ and I received (1) $10 RR and (1) $3 RR

After that, a stop at Rite Aid to use up $4 on +ups I had that were expiring this week. I regret buying the overpriced candy and wish I had purchased a card with my excess. *shakes head *

Rite Aid Order

(1) Samy Fat Foam $7.19 (I have a 20% discount attached to my card)
(2) Candy $1.44
= $8.63
- (1) $2 adperk coupon
- (1) $2 samy manufacturer coupon
- (4) +ups from a prior week
= 63¢ and I received (1) $5 +ups

Then it was off to Tops where I had a ball!

Tops Order #1

(4) Diet Pepsi $1
(5) Edge Shave Cream $2.50
(2) Sugardale Bacon B1G1 (2/$6.99)
= $23.49
- $5 shave cream instant credit

- (1) sugardale $1 coupon
= $8.49

- (4) diet pepsi 55¢ coupons (doubled to $1)
- (4) milk 25¢ coupons doubled
- (2) milk bites 75¢ coupons doubled
= $5

Tops Order #3

(5) Skintimate $2.50
(2) Filippo Berio Olive Oil $2.99 (I checked against the bigger bottle and it was a tad less per ounce this way after (2) $1 coupons, but just a tad – I got it for the small bottle convenience)
(1) Invisible Glass $3.49
(1) Top Care Allergy Med $9.49
= $31.46
- $5 shave cream instant credit
- (1) $9.49 free allergy reward coupon
- (5) skintimate $1 coupons
- (2) filippo berio $1 coupons
= $9.97
- $3 invisible glass MIR
= $6.97

For my trouble I collected 11 Monopoly cards through which I “won” …. 2 more Monopoly cards.

And our final stop was *gulp* Wegmans. Since I posted that Pepperidge Farms cookie deal a few weeks ago, I took pity on hubby’s and his low cookie stash and we stopped. I swear we took one hour and 10 minutes to do Tops, Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens, and it was over 30 minutes to get 8 bags of cookies at Wegmans!! My closest store really is a zoo on the weekends.

Wegmans Order #1

(4) Pepperidge Farms cookies $1.99
= $7.96
- (4) 50¢ manufacturer coupons doubled
= $3.96

Wegmans Order #2

(4) Pepperidge Farms cookies $1.99
= $7.96
- (4) 50¢ manufacturer coupons doubled
= $3.96

Total Merchandise: $117.60
Total OOP: $32.11

and I have $8.99 ECB, $5 +ups and $13 RR to use at another time.

Note: At yesterday’s meet-up it was requested that I post this weekly link on the right side with the other important weekly posts, so I will!

So, how did your Sunday Morning Shopping go? Were you out bright and early? Sleep in? Find a deal we should all run out for?

Details folks, we want details!
