by admin on April 21, 2012

what to buy

I have to go to Rite Aid tomorrow because I have +ups that are expiring.

Same for Walgreens – RR to use and roll.

But my first stop tomorrow is CVS. My father uses the blink drops, and getting the PP back in ECB is wonderful!

Frrrrrrrrrrrrreeeee Pepsi at Tops! YAY!!

New list of Wegmans deals. Still not going.

A&P and Pathmark have a few good deals if you are in the area.

Looks like all the drug stores and Tops for me tomorrow.

How about you? What are your Sunday “Must Do” Deals?

Sunday Morning Shopping

by admin on April 15, 2012

shopping haul

Hubby and I were at Walgreens bright and early this morning! This was definitely where the action was this Sunday! I wrote up my first four orders before I walked in the store so I would be totally organized. Because I did not know how much stock would be on hand, I didn’t want to claim more than two Nasal Ease and two Similasan (one each for hubby and me) if they were limited in stock. As soon as I grabbed the two each through, the clerk went to the back room and grabbed a few more blocks (12 each) of each type, so I didn’t feel bad doing a third order with the Nasal Ease. Yes, I do have more coupons, but I do not like to take too many.

Order #1

(1) Nasal Ease $9
= $9
- $5 manufacturer coupon
= $4 and received (1) $9 RR

Order #2

(1) Similasan $6
(1) Pepsi Next 99¢
(2) Newspapers $2
= $10.99
- $1.50 coupon
= $9.49
- $9 RR from order #1
= 49¢ and receive (1) $6 RR and (1) 99¢ RR

Order #3

(1) Nasal Ease $9
(2) Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaners 2/$3
(2) Easter candy 25¢ – did not need these for filler, hubby needed them
= $12.50
- $5 coupon
- $1/2 coupon
= $6.50
- $6 RR from order #2
= 50¢ and received (1) $9 RR

Order #4

(1) Similasan $6
(1) Pepsi Next 99¢
(2) Newspapers $2
= $10.99
- $1.50 coupon
= $9.49
- $9 RR from order #3
= 49¢ and receive (1) $5 RR and (1) 99¢ RR

This is where I went back to the car, clipped my Nivea coupons (and got a bonus Red Plum! YAY!), and then went back in to spend RR.

Order #5

(1) Nasal Ease $9
(3) Nivea Body Wash $3.49
(3) Easter candy 25¢
= $20.22
- (1) $5 coupon
- (3) $2 coupons (nivea)
- $6 RR from order #4
- 99¢ RR from order #4
- 99¢ RR from order #2
= $1.24 and received (1) $9 RR

Order #6

(3) Nivea Body Wash $3.49
(2) Lysol Wipes 2/$6
= $16.47
- (3) $2 coupons
- (1) $1/2 coupon
- $9 RR from order #5
= 47¢
- $3.59 lysol rebate
= $3.11 profit! and received (1) $2 RR

One last Walgreens note: Easter chocolate is 75% off starting Monday!

After that I stopped into Tops to see if the Egg Beaters Florentine were going to count towards the 200 gas points bonus offer.

I brought up the two Egg Beaters Florentine and six of the Diet Rite. I had the cashier ring up the two Egg Beaters Florentine and four of the Diet Rite – NO gas points bonus. I then had him add the other two, and the gas points bonus appeared.

Tops Order

(2) Egg Beaters Florentine $2.69
(6) Diet Rite 3/$4
(1) Organic Milk $2 (it was reduced, hubby will make pudding!)
= $15.38
- (2) 75¢ coupons doubled
= $12.38 and I did get the extra 200 gas points worth $6 off 30 gallons

And then I went to CVS. Because it was already after 9 am, I missed out on the NatuRelief so I got a raincheck.

(1) Burts Bees Scrub $8.99
(1) Burt’s Bees Body Butter $12.99
= $21.98
- (2) $3 coupons
= $15.98
- $4 ECB from a prior week
= $11.98 and received (1) $5 ECB

Total Merchandise: $117.95
Total OOP: $28.44

and I have $5 ECB and $2 RR to use at another time, plus I received gas bonus points worth $6!

So, how did your Sunday Morning Shopping go? Were you out bright and early? Sleep in? Find a deal we should all run out for?

Details folks, we want details!

Sunday “Must Do” Deals

by admin on April 14, 2012

what to buy

Walgreens is the place to be tomorrow morning. From free kids toothpaste to a lot of roll potentials, Walgreens is the best store this weekend!

CVS is definitely tempting, especially the Burt’s Bees deal. Since it deducts coupons from the rebate, I’ll have to see if it works without rebate submission – assuming I can find my $3 coupons, of course!

Slow week at Rite Aid IMO.

If you need cereal, print your coupons and head on over to Tops!

New list of Wegmans deals. Still not going.

A&P looks awful. Pathmark has a few good deals if you are in the area.

Looks like CVS and a long time in Walgreens for me tomorrow.

How about you? What are your Sunday “Must Do” Deals?

Sunday Morning Shopping

by admin on April 8, 2012

shopping haul

My first stop was CVS for the Kiosk coupons. I didn’t purchase anything.

After that, I went over to Tops and grabbed a few of the $1 milks. When I checked out, the machine asked the cashier if I wanted my allergy coupon (I had “purchased” the free Allegra after coupon last week). She said “yes”, but neglected to scan the trigger card, and so I didn’t receive it. The front end manager tried to get it to print via the trigger (it is a Catalina), but you need to make some sort of purchase to get that coupon. Probably so points can deduct? Anyhoooo if you qualify, make sure that after the cashier clicks yes, s/he scans the trigger card.

Tops Order

(4) Milk $1
= $4
- (4) 25¢ coupons doubled
= $2

After that, it was a quick stop at Rite Aid where I grabbed two of the Bic razors:

Rite Aid Order

(2) Bic razors $2.99
= $5.98
- (2) $2 coupons
= $1.98 ad received $4 +ups

I skipped Walgreens this morning. Only the luster white interested me, but not enough to stop. Maybe later in the week since they will be an easy flip because next week at Walgreens is pretty darned good!

Total Merchandise: $9.98
Total OOP: $3.98

and I have $4 +ups to use at another time.

So, how did your Sunday Morning Shopping go? Were you out bright and early? Sleep in? Find a deal we should all run out for?
