So how many did you have? What did you give out?
We had 25 kids through which was 25 more than last year. The weather was still reasonable (about 55-60º), but windy. The rain did stop. We ended up giving out free candy bars, Quaker granola bars and some Quaker caramel covered thingies.

.
It is Spring Forward, Fall Back so don’t forget to set your clock back one hour before you go to sleep tonight.
YAY! And extra hour to clip coupons. Er… Or an extra hour sleep!!
Well, I am off to Rite Aid in the morning. I am hoping to do two orders at one store for the meters so I can get the diabetics tote.
After that it is off to Walgreen’s for some candy and newspapers.
CVS has the ricola deal and that is probably worth the trip.
The hot spot for the week is Target. $1.98 for four boxes of cereal (and let’s face it, if you can give coupons on the free one most people will making it four free boxes of cereal). Target is amazing. They seldom have anything worth a special trip, but when they do….
The glade deal with coupon from the 11/1/09 inserts is also a “must do” as long as you are there!
the Kmart Clorx deal is not as hot this upcoming week, but the Arm & Hammer deal looks like a winner! I hope a $5/$50 pops tomorrow.
I am making a special trip to Tops tomorrow just to see what the deal is on the Sara Lee cheesecake. I have a funny feeling they’ll be all out by Tuesday.
If you have one in the area, A&P and Pathmark both have some decent deals.
So that is it. Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, Target and Tops are my “must do” stops tomorrow. What are yours?
*heavy sigh* I’m not sure what I expected, or why I would expect anything different from crummy denominations and all medicine coupons… because that is what we usually get and today was no exception.
We did receive all the Glade coupons, which was great! Our P&G said “save $111″ instead of the “save $104″ listed on the P&G website, but I can’t figure out where we picked up the $7… Pampers wipes 20¢! Bounce 20¢! Dawn 20¢! As Gita said, they should be ashamed!
We did not get the Heinz gravy (which would have been nice), our McCormick’s was $1/4, our Nesquik was $1/2, which I expected, and on and on in the same vein.
Sooooo, anyone get anything “good”?
If you receive a coupon in your inserts I do not have listed, please send me an email with the product, denomination, expiration date and whether it was in RP or SS and I’ll add it to the list!
